Jensen Interceptor Series III....very VERY nice.1973 but built 72 historic tax

Beautiful Jensen Interceptor.

But before I write my listing PLEASE Please tell me why  really scruffy but motd Interceptors with rust in the normal places. as I have seen sell on here. can make between £7 to £12k BUT the top prices for these gorgeous hand built supercars of the 60s and 70s struggle to get more than £25. 00????? Its a big mystery to me!!!! SURELY and soon these works of art. in really good condition. are bound to rise in value at an alarming rate. No maybe not like the Astons have done. but rise they are surely bound to! Will make me regret selling this beauty.

And this  Interceptor really is one of those Jensens which is in that superb condition that you just may be looking for.
First registered on 23/03/1973 BUT with a build date in 1972. so this Jensen is registered on the V5 as an HISTORIC VEHICLE so the tax is £0. 00. Bit more free money to give her a little drop of petrol!!

FWW 73L is an early Series III.
Finished in a truly stunning colour of metallic Black Mica. No flaws in her gorgeous paint. No rust bubbling on the arches. No poor areas around the rear hatch. No cracks in the paint. No micro blistering. JUST A SHINE & A QUALITY OF A REAL STUNNING INTERCEPTOR.
Complemented with a beautiful black leather interior. No rips or tears on the seats. Just with enough 40 year old ageing. Just correct.
And I do believe the mileage of 43. 00 to be correct. Look at the seats. look at the pedals. These Jensens never did immense mileage. So I really dont think this car could ever have done 143. 00!!!! Which it hasnt.

11 months mot and 11 months free tax. No advisories on mot. The mileage will go up as I have LOVED driving her in this sunny  weather from Ely to Fakenham for the races and then from Ely to Bungay in Norfolk.
Just under 200 miles covered in sheer comfort and great pleasure. Listening to the original Jensen 8 track player. Zing went the strings of my heart. and. Rock the boat. now come on all of you of a certain generation. who sung these 2 classics on my Black Music Tape???????

Back to the Jensen. Beautiful clean engine bay containing this monstrous V8 heart. And she beats well and strong and sounds like a symphony.
Gear change from the automatic box is sweet. Ooodles of power when and whenever you want to feel it and hear it.

Recent Stainless steel exhausts fitted.

Underside is in very good condition with both sills and floor pans all solid.

All brake discs and all calipers and pads have recently all been renewed. Front springs and shock absorbers have recently been renewed. Master cylinder has been renewed. Timing chain and sprockets have all been recently renewed. High volume oil pump has been fitted. New coil and control unit have been fitted.

Comes with an original Jensen Motors colour brochure and parts catalogue.

Many £0. 00s of pounds of recent receipts going back to 2007. but no history before this. sorry.

A beautiful Jensen indeed and I really will miss her if she sells BUT I am now spending many many pennies on a MK I which I have recently aquired and it will soon be settlement day on my account!!!
