Toyota : Other Pickup Truck

Very clean. well maintained. stock. original. cancer and accident free. great running and driving. barn find. survivor-type example of a 1985 Toyota 4X4 Standard Cab Pickup Truck. It has spent it's entire life in the dry. desert climate of Southern Nevada and Southern Utah except for a brief stint up north where it appears to have been driven infrequently. I'm the Ebay go-to guy among my circle of family and friends so my buddy has asked me to help him thin out his toy collection. This is the last of his 4 wheeled toys.
The interior is in very good. original condition (see pics). All gauges. lights. buttons. switches and knobs work properly other than the horn. right blinkers (flashers work great). and parking brake (needs adjustment). Dash is uncut and unbutchered. Original radio was removed at some point but I don't see signs of anything other than the stock radio having been there. Dash on passenger side only is sun cracked. Windows roll up and down properly but driver side window skips gears while cranking. Door panels are good (one tear) and headliner is great. Seat was professionally covered eons ago but original upholstery can be seen underneath (see pics). For some reason. front seat attachments were removed. They were replaced with a bolt-in bracket so seat is solidly attached. Floorboards are awesome.
The exterior is in excellent. original condition with no cancer anywhere. original paint. and typical. minor. bumps and bruises that come with age (see pics).  Personally. I love the patina and would leave it as is. All body panels are original and it has never been in an accident.  All glass is good (small rock chip on windshield - lower left corner).  The bed has common for Toyota spot-weld marks above the rear fenders (see pics). Paint was flaking off tailgate and front bumper and surface rust was developing so they were treated and resprayed just to protect them. Undercarriage has surface rust (no cancer anywhere) under bed but the underside of cab looks awesome. I have many undercarriage pictures available.
Running gear (transmission. transfer case. axles) is in great condition. Engine is the legendary 22R and is in good condition for its age (runs great/burns some oil). Carburetor was just adjusted and secondary accelerator pump replaced. Air filter is new and oil and plugs have just been changed. Battery and alternator are also new. Cooling system has been upgraded with a Hayden electric fan; manual on/off toggle switch is in the cab. Smog pump has been removed to improve performance but can be inexpensively replaced if need be. Five speed manual transmission and transfer case work great.  Tires are older but still have a lot of tread.  Power steering and power brakes work great and make it a very civilized. practical driver. And she's tight like a Toyota should be; no rattles. squeaks. or anything like that.
This is an awesome barn find. survivor. stock. original. unmolested. rust-free. great running and driving. desert Southwestern example of the Holy Grail model year of Toyota pickups. 1985 was the last year of the solid axle. The value is clearly in its originality. completeness and cancer free body. Finding one in this condition is tough.  And it is ready to enjoy today.  I hope it finds a home with someone who will preserve it. Just my two cents.
