Triumph : TR-6 Convertible

You are bidding on a completely original 1 owner 1976 Triumph TR6 in Carmine Red over Beige Ambla Interior with Factory A/C and Overdrive.   Exactly matching the VIN plate with Paint code 82 and Trim code 74.   Not only is it the most sought after and collectible year of the TR6. but it comes with both rare factory options.   And with only 40. 00 miles since new. they just don't get much better than this.   It is ready to be shown or simply driven and enjoyed.

This particular TR6 has been recently removed from a 20 year storage in a temperature controlled garage (see photo).   Last registered in 1994 and having only been recently driven again after a quick tune up.   The car is completely original inside and out and comes with all factory documentation and maintenance records since new.   It even comes with the original “window sticker” from the day it was purchased.

The exterior of the car is in good condition with the original Carmine Red paint still very presentable.   A little polish and some elbow grease would go a long way in making the paint shine as new.   Of course an errant ding. chip or scratch can certainly be found.   The chrome as well (bumpers. luggage rack and wheels) is also in very good condition.   Even the factory striping still shows “as new”.

The interior of the car (seats. cockpit. carpet. door panels and dash) are also in extremely good original condition.   The beige seats show almost no wear whatsoever with the wood dash and dash pad having a nice patina.

Mechanically the car runs and drives well.   As you would expect of a TR6 with only 40. 00 original miles.   It starts easily. idles great and runs strong with the Clutch. Transmission and Brakes all working exactly as they should.   In fact everything is working exactly as it should although you might be inclined to give the AC a fresh charge with the compressor installed.

Comes with all factory weather equipment (black reflector top. black tonneau cover and beige top boot). tools and jack.   All 5 factory wheels are in good shape while still riding on original Michelin Redline tires.

Included as well are the original Owners manual. “window sticker” from purchase and workshop manual.   In fact I have every part ever removed from or replaced on the car at any point in its history.
