Triumph : Spitfire Base Convertible 2-Door

The weather outside is frightful but this car is simply delightful
You don't see many this clean! This 1976 Triumph Spitfire has been pretty much restored (not by us so I have no particulars). It has a fresh paint job (it was done pretty well). I believe the seats have been redone since they appear to be just about perfect but I suppose they could be original. The interior panels look new.
The engine was taken apart and painted so I assume that since they went through all the trouble of taking it apart. it was also rebuilt during restoration. though I couldn't guarantee it.

This vehicle is rust free including the floor panels and the trunk.
You won't win any speed races with this baby but it is so much fun to drive. I had one like this years ago and I used to brag that the top speed was only about 60 but I could turn a corner at full speed. I would probably keep this car but my fat butt doesn't quite want to fit into it.
The convertible top is in good. not great. shape. The car also comes with two other canvas tops. I assume one would be the tonneau cover and the other the cover that goes over the convertible top when when it's down though i never opened them (my mistake).
We had to replace the clutch slave cylinder when we bought it but that is the only work that we had to do.
Although the tires have plenty of tread. they are a bit dry rotted from sitting. I would recommend new tires be purchased before any long-range trips.
