VEHICLE Description:

Presented today for your consideration. NO RESERVE. is this beautiful 1973 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser. This is a great running. nice driving example of Toyota's famous 4x4. This 1973 Land Cruiser still retains it's original running gear except for the transmission which was replaced in 2012. The motor. transfer case. and differentials are the same as when this Land Cruiser was new.  Very nice driving and easy starting Cruiser. This 1973 Land Cruiser has a rust free body and a solid floor. Has a very nice full-cage roll bar. The original glass is in great shape. the front window folds down when the top is removed for a true open air experience.  A nice set of included soft doors completes the look. The hardtop has a good headliner. All of the other lights and gauges function as they should. The heater and wipers work great. Excellent. clean engine compartment.  This 1973 Land Cruiser has a very nice. clean interior. Newer model Land Cruiser seats were installed and are in excellent condition.  Cruiser was painted its original color recently and it is of good driver quality. There is a small dent below the passenger door and I would probably have the hood replaced or repaired and repainted. The front bumper on this Cruiser has provisions for a tow bar (included) as well as a winch.  
In 2011-2012 many items were replaced or serviced including: New thermostat & fan belt. new brakes. wheel cylinders. fuel filter. gas tank. upgrade to H3 headlights. clutch slave cylinder. radiator flushed. master cylinder repaired. back-up light switch. starter. new header exhaust gasket. wiper motor and assy. tires and original rims. rebuilt head w/ new valve train components. 4 shocks. fog lights. new locking rear differential assy (original gears in box)  tie rod ends. bushings. new pan gasket. interstate battery and hold down. steering rag joint. u-joints. all fluids flushed and filled. transfer case seal. emergency brake mechanism. transmission replaced. new rear main seal. intake gasket. exhaust pipe muffler and tailpipe. Valves readjusted as well as the carb.
This 1973 Toyota FJ40 Land Cruiser will ship with a clean California title. bill of sale and a set of keys. It is currently registered until 11-12-2014.  A. M. C. R. will pay for any 2015 registration related D. M. V. fees if winning bidder registers the vehicle in California.
