1956 Imperial Southampton Coupe.

Okay Mopar freaks!  Here is the car you all have been waiting for!   For anyone attending the “Goodguys” Show in Scottsdale – I live about 15 minutes north of it so come take a look at it.

This is a pseudo-survivor!  I say pseudo only because its paint isn't what you would call fantastic – it could be blown in the worn or low spots.   I like the all original patina – feels and looks like it has been enjoyed – but not abused.   It is 100% original and complete except for (1) hubcap.   I know I had (4) but can't seem to locate the last one.

The Good:  The body of this car is absolutely to die for!  I honestly think it has ZERO rust.   All the panels are original and that faded. thin in areas. paint you see everywhere is all from 1956!  The interior and all the bright metal is all from 1956 as well.   The engine and transmission are the factory born units and it has its original fender tag.   What you see on this car is what you get – nothing hidden.   I was driving it as it looks now and I always get a thumbs up and a “what is that thing?  Is it a custom?”

The bad:  It is missing a hubcap as I originally stated and the horn ring has a small crack in it.   I do have extra parts that go with the car – they can be used for trading or just cool to hang on the garage wall.

Options: Power Steering. Power Brakes. Power Seats. Power Windows. Town and Country Radio. and Air-conditioning.   Paint is Nugget Gold. Cloud White - top. with Grey and White interior.

This car can be driving as is and be amazing or do a complete restoration on the car.   The best way to really appreciate this car is see it in person.   The sound of the Hemi engine is fantastic and it floats down the road.    The car was born and raised in California and moved to my house in Arizona.   The car is a very early production number and was special ordered by the Chrysler Corporation.

I do reserve the right to end this auction early as I have it listed locally in Arizona.   Feel free to ask any questions prior to bidding.   I will respond as quickly as I can.

Financials:  I require a 10% deposit within 3 days of the close of the auction.   The remainder needs to be paid in full prior to the Imperial leaving my garage.

Closing Thoughts:  Please know this car is being sold in “as is” condition.   No warranties are expressed or implied. written or verbal.   I have represented this car to the best of my abilities.   I would love to show you in person or take you for a ride in it.   Feel free to contact me and I can give you my phone number so we can talk.   I can also send out as many photos as you would need if you can't see the car in person.
