Up for auction is a 1972 Triumph TR-6 with it's original engine and 4 speed manual transmission ( non-overdrive ). I will make every effort to detail everything about the car so all interested will be fully informed prior to bidding. I'm not a mechanic or a dealer just a guy selling a very nice TR-6. Please take time to read the auction in it's entirety as much work and dollars have been spent.    Heritage: I believe that this a numbers matching car after doing much research .  The production date is June 1972. nbsp;commission number is CC 83561 U. engine number is CC 83835 UE. nbsp; body tag # 1  is 76456 CC and body tag #2 is 5339.  The paint from the factory is # 17 Damson Red and the interior trim code is # 33 New Tan.  If your looking at this auction you know how rare it is to find a numbers matching TR-6.  To be 100% you would need to order your certificate from the Heritage Center at:  http://www. heritage-motor-centre. co. uk/
Mechanicals: The car has had much work done and dollars spent and she is ready for the open road. She runs and drives great.  The car was just had major service / work completed last week. The service included new points. new spark plugs. new ignition wires. new distributor cap. new rotor button. valve adjustment. nbsp; oil change. new oil filter. new air filters. new fuel filter. new brake master cylinder. new brake booster. new temperature sending unit. new oil pressure sending unit. new fuel sending unit. new exhaust manifold gasket. new battery installed. nbsp;transmission fluid serviced. rear end fluid serviced  and the radiator was serviced. As well the car had a top end engine rebuild last year.  The car shifts up / down through all the gears with no issues or noises. The rear end is strong and makes no noises. Electrical's:  Many hours and dollars where spent on going through this area: headlights ( high & low beam ) work . wipers work. horn works. front & rear turn signals work. front & rear running lights work. brake lights work. nbsp;backup lights work. license plate lights work. interior courtesy light work . nbsp;dash gauge lights work. glove box light works. nbsp;radio works. nbsp;hazard switch works and blower fan works. All gauges are in correct working order. Note: I have a correct "Smith" amp / volt gauge on order and I will have it installed prior to the car being picked up.   Interior:   Is in very good condition and I'll let the photos speak for its condition. Note: the dash front was replaced this year.   Exterior: The car looks nice in the photos but I would still say the paint is of driver quality ( not show ). All glass is cloud and scratch free. The wheels where refurbished this year and look stunning and are wrapped in near new matching high end Michelin radial tires. The car sits evenly and squarely on the ground with no visible signs of leaning or the dreaded "TR-6 Squatting" issues.   Soft Top: The soft top is brand NEW and was professionally fitted and installed 2 weeks ago.   Underbody: This area looks original and in very. very good condition given the cars age. Underbody and floor pan photos are available upon request.   Trunk: The truck is rock solid. The car does comes with a spare wheel. original lug wrench and original jack.
