1978 Saab 99 Turbo. 101K orig miles. runs well. upgraded transmission from 4 to 5 speed. parked for years until recently. Drive anywhere mechanical condition. New paint. correct original Inca wheels. the is interior showing its age. I have owned this car for nearly 10 years. Has rare factory louvers and rare after market sunroof wind deflector. AM/FM CD player with remote.

Fun fast car thats really quite rare. being only one of 4233 imported to the USA in 1978. Production started in 1977 with 100 test cars and continued until 1980 when it was replaced by the 900 turbo. The 99 turbo was only imported to the US in 1978. NADA classic car values are pretty kind to this car. I am not so optimistic. This car is a daily driver. I will make any trip needed and I would drive it anywhere any time. Solid dependable driver. Drive as is or continue restoration. Not recommended for hot climates. these cars don't like it hot.

Pros:
Rust free car
New ball joints
New KYB Gas adjust shocks

 some additional information:

The fan switch for the ventilation system I believe is bad.
The ventilation control for the heat is broken. I have a spare complete control system included with the car.
The Fuel pump relay is bypassed with a jumper. The car had lost ignition power to that relay so I jumpered it. which coincides with the slow battery drain?!? (did I really have to put that in writing to figure it out?)
The tires are a matched set with plenty of tread but are old. Has full sized spare as well.
The original emissions equipment I believe are intact and on the car.
2 of the 4 center cap decals for the wheels have long since fallen of.
A recent trip to the tire store to repair a flat resulted in a wheel stud breaking off the car. it has not been replaced.

Please ask all questions prior to bidding. Thanks!

Not sure why this is a problem. maybe Ebay needs to make the location text bigger but the car is located in St Paul Oregon which is about 40 miles south of Portland International Airport.
