Just arrived. an very nice original example of  a rare Special Edition Trans Am
in 1979. National Coach Engineering. in cooperation with Pontiac. purchased
250 TTop Trans Ams and converted them into convertibles in 1979.

The TTop cars were chosen due to their additional stability bracing. Additional
bracing was added by NCE to further make these cars handle like the Coupes.
The NCE plate in the driver's door jamb show identify this car as #62.

Purchased new by a Pontiac dealer in Mount Shasta. California. it remained in his
personal collection for 21 years until sold with 44K miles to Owner #2. After a brief. br>garage kept stay in California & New York. Owner #2 moved to Florida in 2009.

We believe all cars were repainted at the time of conversion in the factory color.
Most of the photos we have seen of these cars are without the hood Firebird.
That may have been the case since the car was destined for repaint.
We can add a Gold Firebird decal to the hood if desired as part of the purchase.

Factory velour interior. door panels. dash. carpet and console in very nice
condition. We could replace or redye the carpet if desired. it is slightly faded.

Ice cold factory air conditioning

Factory Gold snowflake wheels and new white letter radial tires.

Mechanically refreshed and ready to drive. now it will look great in your garage.

The car is equipped with the factory 6. 6 Liter. 403 V-8 engine with 4BBL carb.
Factory automatic transmission with console shift.


Body has no rust or accident damage. the underside is as nice as the top !!!

Garage kept. pampered and serviced. this car could not be nicer.
This car has been refreshed. detailed and ready to drive or show.
