This is a 1931 Ford Model A Slant Windshield Fordor (4-door) body. on a 1929 Ford Model A chassis.
I bought this car over 20 years ago with the intention of restoring it. but that didn't happen. and so now I've decided to sell it.
I bought it from someone about 30 miles outside of Winnipeg. Manitoba. Canada. and. at that time. I drove it home (to Winnipeg).
The person that I bought it from told me that he had overhauled the differential. and that the engine had also been overhauled.
I do remember him telling me that "everything that makes it roll is good" and I found that to be true. as it ran very well on the highway.
It had a makeshift interior in it. which was not authentic in any way. and was not in good shape. so I removed it and discarded it.

What this vehicle mainly needs is a complete interior. quite a bit of bodywork. new glass. and a new roof.
Also. the front fenders may be repairable. but I don't know about the rear fenders.
There is some damage to the body. at the back. on the driver's side (which you can see in the picture) however. it is not a hole in the body.
It looks as though someone had tried to repair it with body putty at one time. but didn't do a very good job.
Also the headlights and the headlight bar are not authentic.
It had a horn. mounted on one of the front fenders which I don't believe was authentic. so I removed it. (I still have it. )
I had the starting motor rebuilt about five years ago.

On the positive side. there is not a great deal of rust on the body in general.
I believe that the "blue paint job" (which it had when I got it) has served to protect the metal over the years.
The tires don't seem to have much wear on them. but they're old.
I seem to recall replacing the tubes at one time; they all hold air anyway. Several years ago I had someone from a local body shop come out and look at the car. and he told me that the frame was straight.

During all the years that I've had the car. I've always made sure to start it up at least a couple of times a year.
It still runs well. but I'm sure it would run much better with the benefit of a little work by someone who really knows how to work on these cars.
