Ideal for Preservation or Light Restoration Aston Martin's Premier 1950's Model With Looks Inspired by the DB3S One of Only 462 Examples Produced Offered here is a very early example of the newly redesigned 2/4 MKIII in LHD North American specification. Constructed May 16. 1957 and dispatched eleven days later on the 27th to British Motor Car Distributors Inc. . USA. finished in Storm Grey paintwork over Red Connolly Leather upholstery. Records from the British Motor Industry Heritage Trust confirm the original factory specifications. as well as warranty services through 1959.
Throughout late the 1960s and early 1970s. the Aston Martin resided in Columbus. Ohio. where it appears to have been driven and enjoyed quite regularly. In fact. several matchbooks. miscellaneous articles. a preserved newspaper and license plates from 1973 remain with the Aston today - evidence the car was garaged and not used after 1973.

Presented as it was discovered. this incredibly preserved example displays an entirely original interior. numbers-matching mechanicals. original wheels. glass. trim and auxiliaries throughout. The paint color was changed to blue many years ago. while the factory's Storm Grey paint is still present on the dashboard and areas of the engine bay. After a careful inspection and tuning. we have accomplished to start and run the car after all of these years. although we do not recommend driving the car on public roads until a full assessment and complete service is done.
