One of each a MGA Twin Cam Roadster and a MGA MKII Deluxe roadster a pair of rare MGAs ready for the road. The Left hand drive MKII Deluxe is a numbers matching car restored in its original colors and configuration. It has its original close ratio gearbox a very rare steering lock. competition deluxe seats and all correct color and type of weather gear. I bought this car complete in need of a full restoration and that's what it received no expense was spared. The restoration shop took only 6 months to totally restore this car to better than new condition it was completed in 2009. The car is as beautiful underneath as it is on top. The car was restored for me to drive and I have driven it lightly since its completion. This car is a 1961 Export car delivered to France as evidenced by the blue metal importation tag still installed. This car runs and drives as good as it looks its the best MGA I've ever driven. I have ownership history back to the 80s and a BMHT certificate proving it to be a DeLuxe and confirming original colors and equipment along with build dates. Visit Mackays Garage. com to have a look at the restoration photos if you want to see the level of work. The right hand drive home market Twin Cam is an older frame off restoration in it's original colors that could use new paint or at least some touch up paint due to some scratches in the right rear fender and a few paint bubbles on the aluminum panels such as lower doors and boot lid. There is zero rust anywhere on the car and these issues are totally paint related and not corrosion related. The car was totally disassembled during the restoration and all panels were painted on the inside with correct color rubberized paint to prevent rust and chips and they remain in excellent condition. The paint is certainly good enough for a driver quality car but I want you to know what I know. The correct red competition interior is excellent both in quality and condition as is the weather gear including the tonneau cover. The original engine and gearbox were overhauled during the restoration and function as they should I drive the car frequently and it runs like a nice twin cam should. The brake system has recently been completely overhauled and reinstalled and works beautifully including the parking brake. The underside is clean and neat with no damage or corrosion. The electrical system has the correct cloth wiring harness I recently replaced the regulator with a new unit and I just had the generator rebuilt everything works nicely. The starter switch was changed from the pull cable set up to a push button set up like a TR3 but it looks original and works perfectly. This is a nice twin cam just a little short of show quality but a dependable driver and that's rare for a twin cam no overheating or funny noises. I have the BMHT certificate for this twin cam detailing its original equipment and colors along with build dates. I'm offering both of these cars together for one price who knows what they will be worth in the future but this is what I'll sell them for today.
