1964 CHRYSLER IMPERIAL4 DOOR HARD TOP99% RUST FREE NEW MEXICO CAR!
Up for auction is a 1964 Chrysler Imperial 4 door hard top. POWER everything: windows. seat. breaks. steering. This is a running. driving. and stopping vehicle! 
DESCRIPTION:  I have very little background on this vehicle. I bought it from a gentleman who said he had it for almost ten years. he bought it from a women at an estate sale. so I know it has been in New Mexico fro a long time. Complete running and driving auto.  The car has had one repaint since new. The current paint looks to be from the 1980's or so. It is a good paint job and still a ten footer. I just had the transmission rebuilt on october 10. 2014 by AAMCO transmission at a cost of $1400. Great running car with a strong 413 cubic inch motor. Please review for further details.
BODY/PAINT: The car has had one repaint since new. The current paint looks to be from the 1980's or so. It is a good paint job and still a ten footer. Scratches are abound as are some checkering. so please look at pics. The vinyl has also been redone. looks to be in great shape with no rust stains underneath.  
RUST/BONDO: This car has two small areas of bubbling surface rust. (please look at pics) just under the rear window. It is not rusted through and I scratch one area just to make sure and the metal is solid. it does not run into window frame.  Since the car was repainted i took a magnet to the entire body and found NO area of body filler. there might be some spot filling but non that would hold light magnet. I do NOT see and rust anywhere on this vehicle. Trunk. floor boards. rockers etc are solid!!! 
INTERIOR: Redone at some point in its life. I have no idea. Seats and headliner are in amazing condition. carpet  looks good but with some stains and a hole in back from a mouse. Dash has been recovered.  
CHROME: All chrome and bright work are on vehicle except the hood ornament. The chrome is bright and is not pitted or scaling. Rear bumper is bent just a tad (look at Pics).
MOTOR/TRANS: All original with 83k miles. No smoke and runs strong. Full tune up: points. plugs. cap rotor and wires two weeks ago. Original transmission rebuilt on october 10. 2014 by AAMCO transmission at a cost of $1400. Have receipt.
GLASS: All intact and in great condition with no cracks including front windshield
TITLE: Clean New Mexico title. Numbers match.
ELECTRICAL: Complete. original and in good condition. Front power windows work great.  Rears do not. Please see below for more info
AIR CONDITIONING: All their but does not work.
BADS/NEEDS WORK OR DOES NOT WORK: FULL DISCLOSURE!!!!!!!!! 1. Horn 2. Radio3. Cruise control4. Speedometer (trans guys said needs new cable and not hooked to trans)5. Oil pressure gauge 6. Power rear windows do not come up nor down7. Power steering does not work. (big leak at steering box)8. Power seats only one position works
