This FJ-40 is one of the best in the country. restored to original and in excellent condition throughout both cosmetically and mechanically. Introduced to the American public in 1960. the Land Cruiser was built to compete with Jeep and Range Rover's offerings. which it more than did. The powerplant in Toyota's Land Cruiser is an especially robust inline 6-cylinder. These were one of the best 4-wheel-drive vehicles you could buy then and they are now. So many of them were abused and rusted. it is very rare we come across a Land Cruiser in this kind of condition. This example is very easy to drive and safe. featuring power-assist brakes.

The exterior is finished in the correct Mustard Yellow color. The paint shows well throughout. The restoration was completed in 2006 and shows extremely well today. This is a cared-for vehicle and is kept indoors.

Under the hood is the rebuilt OHV inline-6 cylinder engine factory rated at 135 horsepower. This robust powerplant runs excellent. The engine compartment itself is very clean and detailed. Much attention to detail was spent during this restoration.

The restored factory steel wheels were fitted with 31x10. 5R15LT B. F. Goodrich All-Terrain T/A Baja Champion tires all around. including the rear-mounted spare.

Everywhere you look. attention to detail is evident on this FJ-40.

The interior condition is excellent. the soft components replaced and paint restored throughout. The upholstery. dash. instruments. and steel is in excellent shape. The flooring is protected with a rubber diamond-plate pattern mat.

The instruments are few in the FJ-40 and functional.  

The 4-speed shifts through the gears with authority.  

The dials and controls are crisp and in great shape throughout.

The white hardtop shows well as does the glass throughout this Land Cruiser.

The bumpers are in great shape front to back.

The undercarriage further displays the extent of this restoration. The suspension. frame and flooring is in excellent condition.

PAYMENT OF BALANCE DUE
 
The buyer agrees to pay remaining balance due within 5 days of the close of the auction. All financial transactions must be completed before the vehicle leaves our dealership.
 
TAX. TITLE AND LICENSE

We are a licensed Texas dealership.  It is required that we collect all tax. title and license fees from Texas residents at the time of the sale. We will do all of the title work. Non Texas residents are responsible for paying taxes in his/her state. Overseas customers will be charged a $30. 00 fee for wire transfers. We must collect a vehicle inventory tax of . 002277% and a small documentary fee of $75. 00 on ALL sales.

The buyer is responsible for all shipping charges. We can refer you to a number of national and international shippers. Once the vehicle leaves our dealership. we will take no further responsibility for the vehicle.
