Model 810 designed by Gordon Buehrig with disappearing headlights. no running boards. “alligator” style hood opening. and “coffin nose” front end styling. The Model 810 was considered the best looking car at the 1935 New York automobile Show.   This car was stored in a warehouse for approximately thirteen years before we purchased it in 2012.   It was owned by a collector who parked it in driving condition in 1999.   It was packed in a warehouse with approximately sixty other cars.   He was an elderly gentleman and was selling his collection last year.   The motor runs and the car moves under its own power.   It needs to be gone through before it is really driven.   We believe this is a survivor car.   The interior appears to be original.   It has been repainted at some point many years ago.   Both the interior and the exterior are deteriorated but the car is straight and solid.   It is complete except for one small missing hood trim. hubcaps and tail-lamps.   The two ID tags on the right firewall are missing.   The chrome is surprisingly good and would be presentable with a cleaning.   This Cord would be the coolest survivor car out there - bar none. or an easy restoration.   If you put a battery in it. it will run. but the brakes need to be warmed over. carb needs a rebuild and the car needs a  good tune up.   No guarantees. but I think it would go down the road.   My original intent was to make this the coolest survivor car out there. maybe win a trophy or two at some car shows.   I figured it would be much less pricey then a full restoration and much more fun.   These cars are awesome.   I have a '37 Custom Beverly. fixed up nice. and often I find myself just staring at it. But now I want to buy an airplane.

This car is also for sale locally. at the Buy It Now price. which could end bidding early.
