1958 International Harvester S-120 4x4. Restored. Rare.

 

This beautiful American Classic Pickup Is the RARE 4x4 version. Similar to the NAPCO Chevy and GMC’s. this Truck was ORIGINALLY Equipped with a 4x4 all wheel drive system! That is right. ONE OF THE FIRST 4x4’s!!!!!! This was a very expensive pickup from the factory (due to the uncertainty and high cost of the 4x4 system) so not many were produced and sold to the public. This truck has 138K original miles. Original Arizona Truck. NO RUST EVER.

 

The Truck was restored in 2003 and has limited miles since. The restoration included:

-Truck was taken down to bare metal. rust repaired with sheet metal. sandblasted and repainted the original Robin Egg Blue.

-Undercarriage was cleaned and painted.

-Original 220 Motor was fully rebuilt and detailed.

-Original Transmission Rebuilt.

-Bumpers and grill all painted factory black.

-Gauges were restored and are all functioning.

-Interior was restored with new seat.

 

In Full Disclosure:

-Bed looks good and is painted but not ALL of the small dents where popped out during the restoration. (See pictures)

-Tires have plenty of tread but have some cracking in the rubber from age.

-Does not have a headliner.

-Glass and wetherstripping are original but no cracks. etc.

 

This truck fires up the first time and runs and drives excellent. Everything works (lights. wipers. signals. etc). Paint is in good shape with no major dings. dents or scratches. NO RUST anywhere!  Factory 4x4 works great (high and low). This is like a giant tonka toy and gets a lot of attention driving down the road. You NEVER see 4x4 from the 1950’s. Do not miss your chance. these trucks don’t come up for sale often.
