You are bidding on a 1973 Jensen Interceptor III Coupe.

VIN #1335832. one of only 368 made for US import in 1973.

She is a striking “light” blue metallic color with a complimenting dark blue leather interior.

Here are the features of the car

61. 83 miles.

Under the hood is a great running 440 Cubic Inch Chrysler engine producing 325 hp. As you know. the Chrysler power plant was original to this car and is numbers matching. Importantly. although this is an English car. the power train was all American. meaning that the parts are easy to source and the car is very reliable.

There is also an automatic transmission car. again. a Chrysler Torqueflight automatic – original to the car.

She also has power windows. power steering. power brakes. and an entire bevy of dash-mounted switches.

The interior is in very good overall condition. again being original. The wood veneer on these cars never held up that well and I was say that the condition of the wood here is average.

She runs down the road very well and can be driven with no worries. This is a solid rust free car. I can provide any additional pictures that are requested.

She is largely original except for one re-spray. which isn't exactly show quality. In fact. it's an amateur re-spray. We might call it a “ten footer”.

I bought the car to apply a show winning repaint (keeping the interior original) and to add her to my collection www. theburtcollection. com . however I have since secured a 1975 Jensen Interceptor III Convertible. which will now be the car that is to be re-sprayed and kept in the collection. Therefore I am letting this rare. original and low mileage Interceptor go.

This car comes out of a long-term. private collection and is new to the market. Not a barn find. more a collection find and a good one at that.

The original Jensen rims are there. and the trunk area is specifically well maintained and all of the tools. etc are present.

I've placed a reasonable initial bid on the Jensen. Last week a similar Jensen Coupe sold on Ebay for over $40. 00. My reserve is far less than that.

As she is an old (but classic) car it is being sold with no warranties implied or suggested. She is sold as is. I am happy to take additional pictures upon request and support independent inspections at the buyer's expense. I also encourage test drives.

Good Luck.

Were could I see the Jensen?
I am living in the Netherlands, Phone 0031 45 5421583. Does the car have rust or rotten spots? Is this the Original colour?
Regards
Rob
