1970 Triumph TR6 with Overdrive and Hardtop. The Konig Rewinds are on the car now and the steel wheels with Michelin Redlines are included.
This is a clean and well put together TR6. Its not "numbers matching" or show quality but its much better than most. There is no rust on the body or frame. The diff mounts and "t-shirt" are clean and solid. The frame was reinforced and painted with rust inhibitor when it was restored and it still looks great. This is the 3rd TR6 I've owned and easily the nicest. The previous owner put a lot of time and effort into this car. I added the Konigs and have just enjoyed driving it.
The car was restored and tastefully upgraded approx 10 years ago at which time the odometer was reset to "zero". I bought it with 17. 00 and have put almost 2500 trouble free miles on it.  Regretfully must sell for financial reasons.
This is a rust free car that can be enjoyed as is. Turn the key and enjoy. The engine was rebuilt by Coughlan Machine in Norwood. MA with 0. 30" over pistons and everything balanced etc.  Cam is a Street Performance grind and the head was shaved for ~ 9/1 compressionCar runs really strong with great oil pressure- 100+ psi at cold start and 30-70 when running warm. based on what I've read. a stock TR6 will pull around 75-80 HP at the rear wheels. My educated guess on this car is more than 100 rear wheel horsepower.  The transmission was rebuilt by Bob Nicholson at Brittanic Motors in Avon. MA The OD was rebuilt last year as well and a new clutch and slave cylinder were installed at the same timeSU HS6's added ( rebuilt by Joe Curto ) in place of the stock Strombergs. they have needles chosen by joe to match the cam/engine.  There's a Jetcoated Header and freeflow exhaust ( Ansa)Mallory Ignition with 8MM wires and a performance timing curve. Hella Halogen HeadlightsLeather seats from a 1969 model. Very comfortable!MotoLita wood wheel ( have original too)The car was repainted with engine out so it looks beautiful under the hoodChassis is rust free and was painted black ( I will add pictures of the diff mounting area etc. but its really clean)Koni sport shock up front and tube shock conversion with lowering springs all around. The stance is perfect on 16x7 konig rewinds with 215/55/16 on rear and 205/60/16's up front. Has a trunk rackEvery light works including the trunk. glove box and courtesy light. There's a few thousand dollars of receipts for maintenance and minor repairs from last year and this that are included. oil changes. brakes. etc.
The "to do list"The tach doesn't work- needs a reduction gear to match the Mallory ( which does have a mechanical drive)While You're In there you should redo the dash. and maybe have the speedo cleaned and re-calibrated. and well you get the driftI personally think the exhaust is too loud. I've looked into adding more restrictive resonators or going back to stock. Now you can decidethe usual British car putter list. there's a few minor leaks and squeaks that need to be chased.
The EXTRAS
I have a factory hardtop that came from another car. Glass is good and headliner too. It's dark blue. I've never put it on but understand many folks love them.  A box of miscellaneous parts. new and old that will go with it. A radio and speakers I never installed etc. Factory books. manuals etc. I have the original Redline Michelins and steel wheels with trim rings a shown in the pictures. The tires are not safe for driving on but they look great. The wheels are really nice.
