Hello Hudson fans and collectors of interesting cars. Here is an ALL ORIGINAL. unrestored  1950 Hudson Commodore 6 with only 31. 45 original miles!

It was a "Barn Find" from Illinois sitting nearly 50 years. which I bought at an auction in Iowa a couple of weeks ago. but I have too much to do right now. so I will part with it at my cost.

It is better to go to someone more eager and ready for the restoration of the Hudson Commodore then to have it sit.

These cars are beautiful and they look like a factory "chop top Hot Rod" with their short windows. low body. and sleek "Beetle bug" fastback shape!

I love them. hey are a pleasure to drive. I had a 51 Hudson Hornet some years ago but have my hands full now.

You could not find a more BEAUTIFUL DASH & PERFECT STEERING WHEEL! Magnificent all original condition with beautiful chrome & woodgrain!

This car even has nice ORIGINAL carpet & front mat. And chrome tissue dispenser option.

It is an untouched all original car with exceptionally low mileage!

It has the original literature. owner's manual. and some parts in the trunk. and original key. etc.

As best  I can determine it has been off the road and stored since the mid-1960's. It has maintanance tags in door jam & a window sticker from 1955.

I did not touch anything under the hood. so assume that there is some mechanical work to do!

The Hudson 6 is a great engine. and more desirable than the 8 Hudson and these cars won many races in the late 40's & 50's with these excellent 6cyl engines.

The Commodore was the Top-of-the -Line for Hudson. thus the beautiful. luxurious interior!

There is a new or rebuilt head in the trunk with a new gasket as well as a few other parts or spares.  It may be semi-automatic as that option was available. I do not have the fenderskirts.

The rear armrest is the size of a picnic table! trunk is clean & solid with original mat.

The car is very straight and very solid with exc. floors & trunk. it does need some relatively easy but straight bodywork around where skirts go and a few other spots of rust.

This factory original red is the best color. and I would repaint it in this original color. you don't even need to paint the door jams because they are nice and clean!

The chrome is nice for a presentable driver. The interior is nice overall having just 31. 45 miles. there are a few sewn splits but still ALL ORIGINAL!

Excellent interior chrome & woodgrain=you could NOT find a better dash than this one and it would likely win 1st place "BEST ORIGINAL" at a car show!

The door panels are beautiful & original as well. and they too have superb chrome & woodgraining. also in show quality original condition!

Well. that is about all I can think of for now. feel free to email any questions.

As with any old car. especially one off the road for 50 years. I hereby sell it AS IS WHERE IS and recommend that you come in person if possible.

Car needs to be picked up within a week or so after auction. I need the space immed.

Non-Refundable Deposit within 24 hours and balance paid within 5 business days via bank transfer. ank check. or cash. Clear title provided to new owner after payment has cleared.

I made the price very low to make it a quick "done deal". if you like these Hudsons and are ready to restore this low mileage top-of-the-line Commodore. PLEASE DO THE BUY IT NOW!!!

Thank you for "DRIVING MISS DAISY"!
