   Now onto the truck for sale here:

    This RHD Land Rover 110 had one registered owner in the UK before I purchased it.   It was made in late 1987. and has all the features of a 1988 Model Year truck.     It spent a good deal of its life in Africa. nbsp; so does not suffer from a lot of the rust problems that your usual UK trucks may have.    Has had some repairs however in the past and is now a solid. ready-to-use truck.      As you can see it has an external roll cage already installed.      Also has big oversize tires and fender flares to accommodate them.    Best of all perhaps. this truck has AIR CONDITIONING!  Fitted front and rear in the custom  (and very nice) headliner. nbsp; there are many vents for both front and rear passengers.     

   Truck is being transported with its original equipment. however. nbsp; upon arrival here and customs clearance. I will be bringing it into my shop to install a nice 200tdi turbo-diesel engine into it. nbsp; which not only greatly improves the performance and economy. nbsp; but increases value of the vehicle by about 50%.     Truck will be able to go freeway speeds here in the USA. nbsp; tow reasonable trailer loads. and get an average of 25MPG doing it.     LT77 5-speed transmission shifts nice with no trouble or funny noises.

   This Defender 110 also has a steel lockable cubby box. nbsp; CD player/ stereo. nbsp; and even a CUP HOLDER!    Dash looks otherwise standard with a few extra switches for the air conditioning controls.  

   Frame chassis is very solid. as mentioned before truck spent a good deal of its life in Africa.        It is assumed the truck will be in usable 'daily driver' condition for the new owner/ winner of this auction.     Engine will be running perfectly with no problems. AC working. transmission shifts well. brakes in good condition. etc etc -   Tires are in good nick as well.     Seats are very plain and simple and in good condition. with shabby seat covers installed in them in these photos.

   This truck is for sale locally as well. and I reserve the right to end this auction at any time.      I HAVE INCLUDED A PHOTO OF THE 1988 Defender 90 I am selling now too. nbsp; which will be here soon -  Let me know if you would like more photos and details of this one.
