Classic Mopar Muscle 1965 Belvedere Street Wedge Car. Solid Steel Survivor out of the barn and ready to roll. Black Plate California car re-fitted with a performance 440. Let's just stop right here. The engine that's in the car right now doesn't really matter. Sure it's a pretty hot 440 backed up with a 727. a shift kit and sure grip rear end. BUT if you're reading this you're probably thinking about what this car is worth with the correct motor. thinking about doubling your money or maybe better. It's been raced some about a decade or so ago. Column shift has been replaced with a B&M ratchet shifter and a line lock has been installed. We unhooked the line lock because we couldn't find the switch and it would intermittently cause the front brakes to hang up. It's currently fitted with a fiberglass hood and scoop but we have the original steel hood with the 426 call out (pics 21 &22) and it is included with the car. We believe this car is a true survivor with original paint and interior. It spent too much time in storage with the windows rolled up so there's surface rust on some of the interior trim (pics 9 & 10) and there is 1 small tear in the rear seat on the passenger side. Aside from that the interior is in great original condition. There is a hint of pitting under the chrome on the outside B pillars and a good ding in the lower rear window trim and a small bubble below that (pics 17. 18. 19 & 20). The floors and frame rails are clean and solid. The front end has recently had some parts replaced but has not been realigned so it gets a little loose when the suspension flexes. May need ball joints as it doesn't look like they've been replaced. It runs smooth and strong. just needs tuned up and worked out after a long long rest. It's solid American steel and classic American muscle all in one place. As usual it's a no reserve auction with a $500 deposit via Paypal due within 48 hours of auction close and the balance to be paid by arrangement. If you have questions just ask. 402-206-7916 I'm Mike Have now added a pic of the fender tag (pic 24). Also more info ALL lights and turn signals work. radio and wipers do not work (may be a fuse) The tach is not hooked up (not sure of condition) and the Gas gauge works but the speedometer does not (that seems backwards)
