EXTERIOR
This 205 GTi is finished in stunning white paintwork. one of the best colour choices to be found on the now legendary hot hatch. The paintwork on this particular car is its original factory coat and remains untouched by anyone other than Peugeot themselves. Being original there are a few minor stone chips to be found. however the paintwork still retains a deep bright shine and looks stunning sat under our studio lights. In true GTi-style. red piping adorns the black bumpers and waist line mouldings around the car which all remain free from scratches or scuffs and still fit exactly as they should. On closer inspection there are some slight blemishes to the black trim however this does not detract from the cars overall excellent appearance. At the corners all the lights remain clear and free from any cracks or moisture.

INTERIOR
Inside the GTi the interior theme is classic red on black. the half leather half cloth seats are showing very little signs of wear. the red patterned cloth base and seat backs are in excellent condition with no fraying or tears and the black leather bolsters have none of the usual wear. with all the red stitching completely intact. Sitting in the driver's seat you soon realise the 'like new' texture of the black dashboard and switch gear. every surface. switch and button remains free from wear. operating exactly as they should. The red 'GTI' badge is embossed in the centre of the steering wheel which also retains a wonderfully deep texture. along with the gearstick and handbrake all showing minimal wear. The grey carpet throughout the interior is clean and unmarked being protected by a set of fantastic red 205 GTI over-mats in the front foot-wells. complementing the retro charm of the interior perfectly.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
Being the desirable 1. 9 engine and with only a mere 63k miles on the clock. this example still performs exactly as intended. The 5 speed manual gearbox which feels tight and precise with no play in the gear shift selector and the engine is in excellent mechanical condition. revving smoothly and feeling responsive.

Both the clutch and cambelt were replaced at 61k miles and the most recent service was undertaken just one month ago in November 2012 by Yeomans Peugeot main dealer at 63k miles.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
This GTi comes with its original 15" Peugeot alloy wheels which have recently been refurbished. as such they are in perfect condition with no chips or kerb marks. gleaming in the correct paint finish. After the wheels were refurbished they were shod in a brand new set of Pirelli Cinturato P6 tyres that still have plenty of tread remaining. Being the 1. 9 GTI it has disc brakes all round. both discs and pads have recently been replaced feeling powerful. responsive and showing minimal wear.

HISTORY FILE
This 205 GTi was supplied new by Popular Garages (Five Oaks) Ltd and first registered in September 1993. it is thought to be one of the last RHD models to be produced that remains in the UK. The original service booklet is present and showing 14 service stamps at the correct intervals by either Peugeot main dealers or specialists. In 2004 at 61k miles the engine underwent a rebuild by Peugeot specialists P. T. S developments including replacing pistons. liners. bearings and replacing the cambelt and much more work that has all been documented and stamped. The most recent service was carried out by Yeomans Peugeot main dealer in November 2012 at 63. 31 miles.

The history file is large and comprehensive. it contains an original 205 sales brochure. old MOT certificates. V5s. sorn notifications as well as a certificate for the tracker that was installed in 1994. There are also a variety of enquiry letters and correspondence with owners clubs and Peugeot in regards to its late chassis number. The Peugeot document holder is still present along with all the owners handbooks and guides.
