NO RESERVE!  Car runs and drives!  Fly in - Drive it home!  ROAD TRIP!

WELCOME to NAMCmopar's on-line store!  Up for sale from the collectors of cool things here at NAMCmopar:  We have this beautiful B5 Blue. 1970 Dodge Charger 500 with it's matching number 383 engine and drive train.  Low miles. the documenting paperwork provided to list this car shows that in 2007 (at the time of professional appraisal. Northwest Auto Appraisal) actual engine miles are in fact confirmed at 43. 19  --We have corrected this error in our original auction listing to reflect that research confirmation.  Engine and transmission were professionally rebuilt with upgrades.  Engine was originally a 383 2 barrel now upgraded with Edelbrock Performa aluminum intake. matching Elelbrock carb and air cleaner with Mopar Performance electronic ignition and aluminum valve covers.  Engine has mild cam and runs and drives very nice. very smooth ride.  No lumpy idle.  Exhaust has original manifolds with dual exhaust. Flow Master mufflers and reproduction Dodge Charger chrome exhaust tips.  This car was originally equipped with one HP High Performance exhaust manifold on the left side / driver'sside. plus one non-HP Non-High Performance exhaust manifold on passenger side.  This is how these 383 2 barrel cars were produced from factory in 1970.  NAMC is very familiar with this car. as it has come here over many past years for intermittent general upkeep.
Car comes with it's original fender tag. broadcast sheet. owners manual and clear title.
This car's interior has been fully restored with new headliner. expensive SE style leather insert seat covers. new carpet. package tray. upper door panels (lower door panels are original as is the dash pad which is nice)  Dash gauges are restored with new plastic re-chroming.  Driver's visual as he sits in the cockpit is clean and nice!  Car is also equipped with an awesome updated stereo system: Alpine brand CDE-102 MP3/WMA/AAC CD Receiver mounted below original radio.  The original radio is still inserted.  Sports Alpine MRP-F250 4 channel power amplifier (50W RMSx4) and Focal brand Access 690 CA1 speakers for great full body sound.
Car comes with low mile Fire Hawk Indy 500 radial tires on Specialty Wheels.  These are reproduction rallye wheels using center caps and trim rings.  Most everything works as it should when we took it for an exploratory test drive - except for the heater controls. looks like the cable is stiff (needs adjustment to function correctly at the OFF position). the left front marker light is not working (might be something simple like a bulb?) horn isn't working and the passenger door's push button handle needs to be adjusted to function properly allowing the passenger door to open from the outside.  These are the types of remaining issues on any car project that many eBay buyers would have NAMC INC repair prior to shipping/receiving car.  We do these types of repairs on cars that we have not sold. but which are often shipped here FIRST to then go to the customer directly.
Overall this 1970 Dodge Charger 500 is well sorted out with the exception of those few issues we have listed above.  Cars body is straight and paint is beautiful.  Preview the photos to see small bubble areas below doors near rocker panel and wheel lip - if you have any questions please inquire with eBay's message system and we will reply.  If you want to visit car. we are open M-F from 9am to 5:30pm.  We would be happy to show you this ride and provided the weather is nice. we can go for a spin.

Why is customer selling it?  This handsom bit of Americana History sits quietly in the garage and doesn't get used as much as the owners pair of cruiser bikes.  Husband and wife have riden more than 20. 00 miles on the Harley'cruisers. but less than 3. 00 miles have been enjoyed from the seats of this Charger.  Recently this car attend a couple local Show-And-Shines with a rare trip to the End of the World Cruise-In and short pleasure trips around the block to keep the tires round and the fluids moving.  This Charger is feeling a need for speed and hopes to find a new owner who can pull more Fun-Per-Mile out of this authentic Vintage American Muscle Car!  These cars lives to play on the freeway!

Selling as described. no warranty.  This car has lived all it's life after restoration inside a home garage.  We suggest the new owner FLY INTO PDX international airport and we will pick you up so you can head on out for a cross country road trip!  Preview our company website to check out the integrity of our shop and see the quality of work we do here.  Not a buyer?  Bring us your car/truck to work on and restore.  We are located in SE Portland Oregon USA!
