This is a one of a kind professionally built show car. It was built here at Leo's Service Center in Drummonds Tenn. We have been building fords and modular powered fords for many years now. This car was stripped and rotisserie built over a 3 year period and the results can be seen in the pictures. The body was stripped and both lower rear quarters were replaced as were the floor pans. sub frame connectors were also welded in for additional strength. A mustang 11 cross member was welded in and additional steel reinforcement plates added to add rigidity to the front end. the body was completely stripped and prepped and primed with high build epoxy primer and blocked and reprimed before a beautiful tri-coat paint was applied. A red candy-like color was used with light metalflake and pearlcoat and then clearcoated and  color sanded and buffed to a very high shine. All glass is new with the exception of the rear windshield wich was good. All trim was either painstakingly straightened and polished to near perfection and some trim like the side panel trim was reproduced using a high grade brushed  stainless steel. new fasteners and all weatherstripping replaced and all window trim rechromed and reassembled Over 2500 hours were spent on this restoration. Hard to be exact with so many things being done. The engine started as a donor Cobra 32 valve modular engine . We disassembled and cleaned and rebuilt the engine. It has forged internals like the 8 bolt forged crankshaft and pistons and the heads were rebuilt and ported. Comp cams special grind cams (4) were installed along with all new timing chains and guides and all components including comp cams behive valve springs and titanium caps. A special aluminum billet intake was designed and built for this application to use  a new polished 850 Demon carburetor . the Factory exhaust manifolds were sent out and ceramic jet hot coated for beauty and durability. A cobra X pipe was added along with 2 chamber flowmaster mufflers and  2 1/2  pipes run out to the rear of the car. Electric exhaust cut outs were added controlled by an under the dash switch. The sound is a hard hitting idle along with excellent throttle response. A ford racing 11 inch aluminum flywheel was used along with a standard cobra 11 inch clutch. Estimated horsepower in the 400 range. the transmission is a cobra T45 5 speed with a hydraulic actuated clutch. At 65 mph the tach reads about 1800 rpm. great overdrive gear. The inside is fully finished with all original comet seats all redone to a beautiful show car standard. All dash completely redone. chrome both metal and plastic sent out and rechromed. New dashpad and new headliner. All gauges redone and working. Radio is a custom audio-sound am-fm period correct unit that also controls a trunk mounted 10 disc cd player and has an amplified bass amp in the rear along with a 4 speaker system and an Ipod connect under the dash. It runs and drives good and sounds very good. Air conditioning is all new and the controls are integrated into the original dash controls. Wheels are american racing 17'' and tires are excellent. Front brakes are 11 disc. ross drilled and slotted and rear are drum with every thing new from drums to shoes to hardware. Emergency brakes function as they should. A video can be seen on you tube. check it out under ; modular comet .     I have many other pictures if needed but the ones on here show the quality of the car. Included are some pictures of some of our previous builds. Enjoy
