I am a collector of European cars. mostly from the 70s or earlier. I bought a few more cars this summer and need to make room to park these when they arrive.  
This Jensen Healey is a pleasure to drive. I use it regularly. A successor to the Austin Healey. nbsp;all Jensen-Healey models came equipped with the then-new 1973 cc Lotus 907 engine. a two liter. dual overhead cam. 16 valve all-alloy powerplant. This multi-valve engine has a claim to be the first to be used in a mass produced car. This setup puts out approximately 144 bhp (107 kW). topping out at 119 mph (192 km/h) and accelerating from zero to 60 mph in 8. 1 seconds.
This model is the MK I version. of which about 3350 were produced. It is in good condition. every instrument works. steering is tight. Recent maintenance includes new choke cable and new clutch assembly. Car comes with four original rims that are straight but would need to be cleaned up before use. Frame and suspension solid. some peeling of paint inside engine compartment. but otherwise clean. see pictures. No tears in soft top. plastic window is clear. I don't use the hard top. but it looks decent with some repairs in the vinyl. has an electrical connector near the base.   
While this is definitely not a show car. it presents well at British Car Club days and the like. I hope it will go to a good home. The car is also for sale locally so I reserve the right to end the auction early.  

On Oct-08-14 at 09:51:49 PDT. seller added the following information:

I was just told by a specialist that the Dell'Orto carbs alone are worth $2500. so I should have included a picture in the listing! However. pictures of the carbs are on the Flickr link above. as well as a video of the engine running. and a test drive with the typical carb intake purr clearly audible. There is also a video showing all dash instruments are in working order and indicating proper oil pressure. water temp. etc.
