This Mustang is a cool. more rare 67/68 model year car that I had shipped in from CA. however previous owner was not honest about the car and I simply do not have the time nor any more money to put into it (just spent $2200 to get her running). I bought a "running/driving" car and when I got it. it was not. The car visually is nice and the car is a rust free CA car. only rust area I've seen is under the battery.   I've had the car worked on at a reputable shop (have paperwork) to get her running and driving and to fix the rear transmission leak that it had.   (added edelbrock performer intake and 500 CFM carb. new throttle links and kick-down kit. fuel delivery. starter solenoid and battery. vacuum hoses. new intake gaskets and valve cover gaskets. thermostat. seal. neck. coolant temp sensor) Unfortunately for me these repairs cost all the $ I had left for the car. The car still needs some work to sort out and some parts here and there but overall is a good GT clone car.
This stang has a lot going for it and gets lots of attention (had it out a few times so far). beginning with the bright red paint and white Shelby stripes with GT 500 body kit (GT Hood. trunk lid with spoiler. side scoops and grille) and some cobra badges.   I would add GT fog lights and cobra fuel cap to complete.   The paints is glossy and body lines are nice. The car has new torq thrust style wheels and new tires and various other new parts (bumpers. mirror. outside door handles. grille moldings. tail light bezels. cobra emblems. hood pins. steering wheel. valve covers. chrome air cleaner. trunk mat. door panels. & the arm rests).   The paint is nice with only a couple minor chips touched up. after all it is a driver.   Car has dual exhaust and sounds nice. Engine bay and under carriage are in decent shape but could use detailed.   Suspension and brakes are working and in order according to the shop. The interior is in good shape with nice panels and seats with new dash pad and gauge surround.   Radio was removed as it was not working but I will include a new pioneer CD/mp3 stereo to install ($200 value).   Headliner is nice but is releasing at the back. simple glue spray should work.   Seats are in great shape and work well.   Some trim will need cleaned and I'd replace door handles in window cranks for show car (current handles painted silver).
Overall a good car. unfortunately for me the car still needs some work.   With three small kids my goal was to have a cool. running classic car that didn't need projects. I wasn't "sold" that car.   I spent what I could to get this stang running and on its way to a new owner.   What the car needs: I was told the engine rear main seal needs replaced and a (new oil pan/gasket $40). the car is currently leaking oil. however the motor runs strong and sounds fine and isn't burning oil.   Also once I got the car running we discovered it will not shift the C-4 auto into third. have been told it could need adjustment/vacuum fix and shifter bushing - the car does drive so this is a fix I just cannot get into.   The next fix required is alignment.   A previous owner put big block springs in the front so its sits a bit high and cannot be aligned so the tracking of the car is off-will need stock SB springs ($100). but the shop said other than that the rest of the suspension looks ok.   Next. all weather stripping and body gaskets need replaced or added that are missing.   A full kit is $300.   A GREAT parts source I've used is Mustangdepot. com - best selection and prices i've seen.   Even though this is a factory AC car. the under hood parts were removed at some point. those specific parts are available in kits as well.   Inside AC parts are there and seem to work.   The car could use a few more parts here and there (dome light trim. seat belts. cranks. etc. ) but can be added at your leasure to really make the car fine.   The classic muscle car shop I had work on her said the car could be worth $24. 00 - $27. 00 when complete. I'm simply trying to get a fair price for the car.   I've described the car as honest as I can from what I know. but may or may not be all inclusive of what the car may or may not need.   As with any classic car. this is being sold in as-is condition.   I have some good resources for vehicle Shipping and can help arrange.   Buyer can use paypal for full payment however will add 2. 5% to cover transaction cost.   Cash in person or certified bank check. Please ask all questions before bidding. Car is located in west Houston. South Katy/Richmond area. 77406.   Car has California blue title. signed for new buyer by previous owner.   NOT REGISTERED in Texas so will need trailored/shipped to new home.   Happy bidding and good luck!  Own a classic stang on the 50th Anniversary!
