I have for sale a 1957 Ford Fairlane Skyliner Retractable Hardtop. The engine is it's original 292 V-8 With Automatic Transmission. It is also equipped with Power Steering. Power Brakes. The Power Top works very well. We installed new front brakes. new heater & radiator hoses. new fan belts. new oil & filter & checked all the lights. Everything works fine except the clock. Even the interior light works. The tires are original style wide whitewall bias ply. This car runs & drives great for a 57 year old vehicle. The interior is all original and still has is original plastic clear covers on the seats. There is a small area on the drivers side seat that shows some wear. All original door panels that are in great shape. The carpeting is in almost perfect condition. The dash & steering wheel also in great shape. All the gauges seam to be working just fine. Headliner in original condition and still likes fine. The inside of the trunk area is in amazing shape. There is no rust at all. Still has all it's original floor covering and the cargo area is like new. All the side windows roll with ease. All the glass is in wonderful original condition. The engine compartment looks to be in it's original condition. The body has had 1 repaint and the color is yellow. The original color is green (look at pictures) and you will see the original color on the firewall. The story I got was the elderly woman that owned the car had the color changed to yellow as a personal preference. No harm done. It shows some wear due to the age of the repaint. There are no rust issues on the body. Some small bubbling in the paint. looks like there may have been water in the air lines when they painted the car. Still shows nicely. The chrome has some pitting and the stainless shows it's normal wear. Still original pieces. This is a real original Retractable Hardtop that has a nice body. nice interior & runs & drive well.
