This is one for the future. people are just waking up to the early XJS market and here we have a lovely Pre-HE. This is a 1979 Jaguar XJS V12 Automatic Coupe finished in Cotswold Yellow with Black leather interior. This is an early pre-HE with no wood or chrome anywhere. exactly as it should be.

Our car has covered 70k Miles from new and comes with a nice history including the original Passport to service and owners handbooks. It was first supplied to Mann Egerton of Nottingham and their sticker is still in the rear window. the car comes with its Heritage Certificate and much history including a recent £1. 00 service. The Air Conditioning blows cold and the car drives perfectly.

Conceived as a comfortable and long-legged Grand Routier. rather than an out-and-out sports car like its E-Type predecessor. Jaguars XJS adopted the XJ6/XJ12 platform and running gear but was shorter in the wheelbase than its saloon siblings. It debuted as a V12-powered coupé. with six-cylinder and soft-top versions following in the 1980s. The smooth. 5. 3-litre. V12 engine drove through an automatic gearbox. developed 295bhp and propelled the XJS to an ultimate velocity of around 150mph. Suspension and brakes handsomely matched this performance. ensuring passenger comfort. and the interior cabin of the cabriolet was appointed to Jaguars fastidious standards of luxury.

Early XJS's getting difficult to find now. there are very few on sale at any one time and they get snapped up quickly. the colours of our car are fantastic. the condition is great and it drives perfectly. it drove to the Classic Le Mans earlier this year. The history is very nice and the mileage is not excessive. It has just been serviced and is ready for its new home with Tax and MOT until March 2015.
