  1947 Fiat Topolino Street Rod

1947 Fiat Topolino

- for sale by private party -

Available for sale is this incredible (all steel) full-fendered '47 Fiat Topolino street rod. The engineering and finish work on this car is simply amazing. There are well built cars and there are exceptional cars. and this one is exceptional. It has appeared in Popular Hot Rodding and Rod Action. It has appeared in the Goodguys Gazette several times. It has earned countless awards.

This car has been drag raced and it has traveled across the country. It is ready for whatever you can throw its' way. . . and it is stunning.

Owned by the same meticulous owner/builder for over 20 years. it has gone through a number of personality changes. It was completely rebuilt and updated in late 2011 and has zero miles on the rebuild. The paint is fresh and is extraordinary. The car is powered by a ZZ3 aluminum head 350 backed by a turbo 350 and Ford 9 inch rear end (with Koni coil-over shocks). It has a new Unisteer Omni rack connected to a new Flaming River steering shaft. The car sits on a custom 2x3 frame with a modified Super Bell front axle and a four-link rear. Front brakes are GM discs with large Ford drums on the rear. The car sits on ET wheels front and rear. The undercarriage is as clean as the rest of the car.

Inside are comfortable upholstered seats with 5 point (quick-release) racing harnesses. There is a tilt steering column. Classic instruments. and a stereo with CD.

This car is not built for a tall person (over about 5' 10" or so). but is a treat for the rest of us. It is street ready and can be enjoyed today. The engineering is simply astonishing. If you are in the market for a truly magnificent piece of craftsmanship. your opportunity is here.

Selling for a friend who is the owner/builder. I can get you in touch with him if you have questions.
