This Azure has an elegantly crafted body that Mulliner have created with a subtle. purposeful and aggressive stance engaging attention. Finished in Black Sapphire and complemented by the French Navy convertible roof. the coachwork holds a deep shine with no visible imperfections. All chrome is bright and unmarked.

This particular example has the addition of ‘Le Mans" style wing vents and chrome mesh inlet covers. All glass appears in a sound condition and the folding roof rear screen was replaced approx 18 months ago. The exhaust benefits from the addition of a Factory Continental T Tailpipe finisher. Badge identity mounted to the rear boot lid read "Mulliner" not Bentley.

INTERIOR
An opulent interior of soft Cotsworld hide and navy detailing set against Burr walnut instrument panel and door cappings. The interior is further lifted and modernized. benefiting from chrome instrument bezels. push-button start. drilled accelerator and brake pedals and chrome "Le Mans" style gear selector. Navy sheepskin over rugs and two Bentley umbrellas can be found in the boot compartment.

The dashboard top is stitched in soft French navy and the headlining parchment wool cloth. All the interior leather is without fault. switches. dials and courtesy lights operating. as they should. The power hood functions as it was designed and once ported sit below the Cotsworld hide Tonneau cover. Dark blue carpets with French navy binding are all in good order with no significant wear.

ENGINE & TRANSMISSION
their infamous 6. 75 litre V8 with single. intercooled Garrett turbocharger and Zytek engine management system the Azure produces in the region of 420 bhp and 750 N. m (553 lb. ft) of torque at 2000 rpm. Rear wheel drive via General Motors sourced four-speed auto transmission. 0-60 mph in 6. 3 sec and a top speed in excess of 150mph. Remarkable for a car of this weight and aerodynamic profile.

Having been continually well maintained. mainly by Bentley the engine runs as expected. strong. silent and with immerse power. No smoke on start-up and settles into a smooth tick-over once up to temperature. Transfers through all gears up and down the range without drama unless encouraged to do so.

WHEELS. TYRES & BRAKES
Tyres are all Goodyear Eagles GS - D radials 285/45/ZR 18 with 5-6mm tread across centre areas on all 4 tyres. 5 spoke alloy wheels with Bentley insignia in blue as centre caps. all in good condition with no evidence of corrosion. Brakes are extremely effective courtesy of hydraulic assisted 348mm front and 345mm rear ventilated discs and ABS.

HISTORY FILE
An extremely rare and exclusive motor vehicle. the Azure Mulliner wide body was developed in such small volume that there are believed to be only 28 every constructed; 16 of which being left-hand drive derivative. so this Bentley is 1 of only 12 built. With only two owners from new. this Azure was first registered on 10/01/2003 as CC333. Purchased by Mr Christopher D Cooper and supplied by Broughtons of Cheltham Ltd. Bentley main dealers have mainly carried out the comprehensive service record. the last service being carried out on 12/12/13 at 57. 264 miles.
