I'm selling my fresh frame off rotisserie restoration 1956 Chevrolet Belair 2 Door Sedan. I imported this car from the States where it has spent most of its life in California. It has all of its original body panels and very little patch were installed during the restoration. Every nut and bolt on this car is new. I built the car with a 60's era theme in mind. The one piece frame was sand blasted and powder coated high gloss black and Global West tubular control arms where added along with a tubular transmission cross member.
The powertrain consists of a high performance 327 cubic inch Chevy installed using factory engine mounts. and backed by a Muncie M-21 4 speed with a Hurst shifter. The 327 is topped off with a polished Offenhauser 4 carb intake and a Power Master Alternator designed to look like the factory generator.
The only body modification that was preformed during the restoration was the removal of the heater box and battery tray. I did this so if A/C was ever installed I could hide the heater hoses and A/C hoses in the inner fender and not block the clean engine compartment. All of the original stainless was buffed to a chrome like finish. All of the chrome and emblems were replaced with new items from either Ecklers or Danchuck. The hood has been painted and buffed to a mirror like finish but I have no plans on installing it while I own it. I will however install it if the new owner would prefer it on.
The body was glass bead blasted and epoxy primed before any body work was started. The only panels replaced during the restoration were below the truck lid and a small area in the drivers side floor pan. The car is painted Electronic green and the roof is metal flaked Bong Water Green with a border of the Electronic Green.
The interior was freshly completed in a white vinyl that feels like leather. The complete interior is done in Tuck and Roll with Hidden stiches and horizontal pleats just like the sixties. The glove box door and ash tray were chrome pleated and a Moon Tach was installed under the dash. I installed an Ididit tilt steering column and an original 1959 Impala steering wheel painted to match. A modern radio/MP3 player has been installed that looks like the original with molded kick panels with 6 ½” speakers.
Brand new Wheel Vintique chrome OEM style wheels were installed with spider caps on black walled radials. The rear tires are actually Mickey Thompson (ET Street) Drag radials with the white walls on the inside.
This car is fresh with 29 miles on it and I have no plans on driving it any more. It was trailed down to Louisville. Kentucky NSRA Street Rod Nationals where it receive lots off compliments and was selected to be in two photo shoots. One for Streetsceen Magazine and the other with Speedway Motors. I have no clue to when these will be printed or coming out but I felt very honoured to be a part of them.

I reserve the right to end the auction early in the case that the car sells elsewhere.
I will ship this car world wide and will help out as much as possible on my end.
