The 6. 3 litre 383ci engine was also superseded by the 7. 2 litre 440ci in 1971.
The Mark III was the final iteration of the rakish Interceptor.
By 1975 the company fell on hard times due to the then world-wide recession. and the receiving company called in to manage the wind-down and liquidation of Jensen Motors allowed production to be wrapped up using the available cache of parts. Production of the Interceptor ended in 1976.
This car is finished in a beautiful deep metallic green with a gold coach line. The interior is cream and has benefited from a recent re-trim to a very high standard. It has covered just under 72000 miles in what has clearly been a cosseted life.
In fantastic order throughout. this car is ready to be used and take pride of place anywhere it goes!
