1924 Ford Model T Roadster

Very sharp. original Model T Runabout! Exceptionally well tuned and ready for immediate enjoyment! One of the nicest driving. easiest starting Model T's to ever grace our showroom! Converted to 12-volt electronics but otherwise date-code original throughout! Excellent parade car!!

Henry Ford continued to produce America's affordable Model T at a rapid pace into the mid 1920's. averaging over 1 million units each year! The simplicity of the design. along with nine model choices to choose from. made Ford an easy choice for budget conscience buyers. They consisted of an inline four cylinder 177ci L-head engine producing an estimated 20 horsepower. two-speed planetary transmission. solid front axle with transverse semi-elliptic leaf spring. live rear axle with transverse semi-elliptic leaf spring on a 100” wheelbase. and two-wheel mechanical drum brakes.

We are pleased to present this 1924 Ford Model T Roadster. also termed Runabout. finished in the quintessential shade of black with black folding top and interior seating upholstery. This example is still utilizing its January 1923 date-coded engine and transmission fully rebuilt with Kevlar bands. Completing the car is a rear mounted spare. dog bone style Boyce Motometer. Wards Riverside 30 x 3 ½ tires on correct wooden wheels. rocker panel step plate. driver side-view mirror. rubber floor mats. correct Ford headlights and more. The chassis is very clean and attractive as well. remaining solid and presentable underneath.

Our T has spent the last ~20 years in Oklahoma. having been fully restored near the beginning of the previous owner's stint. During this time. the car was treated to an engine rebuild and 12V conversion. making this car very drivable for parades or touring! Furthermore. the car was fitted with a 4-blade cooling fan! More recently. the car was lovingly maintained by a Model T specialist in Sapulpa. Oklahoma where the car received a rear brake upgrade. rebuilt starter. new radiator and new pedal pads. This T is among the best driving examples that we have had our hands on; it is mechanically very sound! Cosmetically. the car admittedly shows some light wear from being loved and driven frequently in summer months but nothing out of the ordinary for a restoration of this age. It is easy to over-restore a Model T and we could comfortably say that this car looks like they did in the 1920s. It is in great shape and dressed to impress rolling down Main St. ! Please don't hesitate to ask any additional questions on this Model T! Thanks for looking!
