1939 Cadillac Fleetwood 7519F Imperial 5-Passenger Touring Sedan

Very rare and opulent Imperial 5-passenger sedan! #49 of 53 built! Show winning car with 98. 5 out of 100 points at recent CCCA event!! Full luxury amenities and partition! Be chauffeured around in 1930s style!

The name Fleetwood is synonymous with the most opulent and luxurious early Cadillacs. While entry level Cadillacs still started in the upper $1600 range. the Fleetwoods started well into the $3100 arena and offered drivers a very luxurious ride. but less frequently than it offered passengers a very fancy way to be whisked around town. Even though production of the Fleetwood bodied cars was a fraction of the ordinary Fisher variety. these cars catered to special interest businesses or the exceptionally wealthy individual. with twelve different configurations of multiple body styles. For the well-to-do family that needed a chauffeur. there was only one choice: the 7519F Imperial 5-Passenger Touring Sedan. Riding on a 141 inch wheelbase. the 7519F had a base price of $3. 65. Weighing in at 4. 45 pounds. this behemoth had all the amenities you'd expect from a world-class luxury car of the era. In terms of the Fleetwood cars. it proved fairly popular. selling 53 cars over the course of 1939!

It is with great excitement that we are able to offer this 1939 Cadillac Fleetwood 7519F Imperial 5-Passenger Touring Sedan! It is fully restored and finished in its original shade of Black with Tan buttoned interior. It still carries its date-code correct original 346ci L-Head V8 and 3-Speed column-shifted manual transmission. As mentioned. this car is equipped with almost every convenience feature that 1939 had to offer. including: roll-up partition. push-button radio. rear grab handle and center armrest. split windshield. fully functional ornamental courtesy lights. dual locking side-mount spares. guide fog lamps. Trippe driving lamps. rear bud vases. dual rear ash trays and cigar lighters with glass beads and full wheel covers with Firestone Deluxe Champion 7. 5×16 Gum-dipped wide whitewall tires.

The previous owner purchased this car in 2011 and the car underwent a very thorough restoration throughout 2012. It was determined that the body need not leave the frame because the chassis and oak structuring were still in magnificent shape; this would indicate that this car was quite a sound 87. 00 mile specimen to begin with. By early 2013. nearly every element of the car had been rebuilt or restored and the previous owner decided to have the car judged. At the Classic Car Club of America Mount Dora Grand Classic in March 2013. the car scored 98. 5 out of 100 points. earning CCCA 1st Prize honors.

This Fleetwood remains in outstanding mechanical and cosmetic condition. The motor and transmission function as new. delivering plenty of power and shifting crisply as this nearly 5000 pound brute gets up to modern highway speed. The interior was completely redone: hand-laid wood. leather. glass. “Fleetwood” door sills. pedal pads. steering wheel. you name it! It was fitted with an auxiliary oil pressure gauge hidden inside the glove box. The vehicle was upgraded to 12 volt electrical system. allowing for brighter lights and use of modern accessories. Also in the glove box is a Bluetooth compatible JVC head unit that powers the speakers inside the car. a very welcomed addition when touring! As anyone that knows the CCCA can vouch. earning a score in the 90s takes an exceptional eye to detail and everything on the car is fully functional. with the exception of the intercom system. Even the clock works! Under the hood. the motor presentation is show-ready; period-correct stickers are in place and even the horns have been restored and painted. Further testament to detail is the Cadillac “Lubrication Due” fixture riveted to the inside A-pillar door frame.

This car needs nothing to be enjoyed immediately! It will come fully serviced and ready to tour and show! We would be more than happy to answer any additional questions on this car! Thanks for looking!
