This cool Riviera was purchased in 2009 from the San Bernardino Valley. California USA and imported the following year. Car has had minor work done in the meantime but has not been regularly driven : it's time for a new owner who will need to upgrade lighting to Aussie standards and give car a general mechanical check-over due to time off the road.
Faded Kandy Gold paint could be left as-is. there is evidence of older touch-ups and minor rust repairs to the body however the underneath of the car appears very dry and solid as you would expect from a California car.
The mighty 425 Nailhead and ( first year for the ) Turbo 400 trans combo runs very strong. large drum brakes pull car up firmly.
This Riviera comes very highly optioned- standard Power Brakes and Power Steering are complemented by factory Air-con ( missing some pieces). full tint glass. 4-way Power Seat. Rear Seat Armrest ( which retracts to allow 3rd passenger on back seat ). Tilt Wheel. Power Windows and Remote Mirror. Interior also features the Custom Trim option in cloth and vinyl with full length arm-rests and cool door latches for the rear seat passengers.
A replacement windscreen has just been fitted with recent roofrail/door and boot rubbers. boot has been professionally trimmed and detailed.
Classic "Supreme" style 16inch rims and 225 60 Goodyear whitewall tyres round off the popular "lowrider" look. Original 15 x 6" steel rims and excellent 225/75 whitewalls can be substituted if buyer prefers.
Import approval. California title and Buick shop manual are included.
Sale price includes box of new spares. including pair of engine mounts. all three flexible brake hoses. ront shockers. uel pump plus numerous suspension rubbers. A full set of replacement front and rear bumpers is available for extra if required.
Assistance gladly given to Interstate buyers. I have sold many of my USA collector cars through ebay and have yet to receive bad feedback.
