An imposing car with very striking Sedanca de ville coachwork by H. J. Mulliner of Chiswick. The car is rakish in the extreme with rear slanting body lines giving an impression of speed even when at standstill.

This car has been in long term ownership for over two decades & during that time has been well card for as evidenced by the three thick files of bills coming with the car. Or importance are bills for new pistons. wet liners. Cam shaft re-profiling. radiator core etc etc etc. Thus all the major mechanical work has been done leaving the car ready for extended grand touring in the grandest of senses.

The car is finished in its original colour black with a full re-spray having been completed not so long ago. The sedanca roof is of the hard slide out variety easily opened & shut as required. The windscreen also cranks open to provide a pleasant stream of fresh air into the cockpit. To the interior is black leather up front & cloth to the rear seats. The car has occasional seats that fold out of the bulkhead & also foot rests when the occasional seats are not deployed. Rear Woodwork is mahogany whilst front woodwork is a piano black finish.

The car drives magnificently & has a real presence when on the road. The V12 pulls strongly & allows one to effortlessly cruise at modern traffic speeds.

The previous owner lists the following works as having been done during his tenure:

Work carried out in the current ownership includes:
Engine
"The engine was overhauled in the car whilst the front wings were removed. Radiator. lower crank case. wheelcase and cylinder heads were removed. The wet liners were replaced and new pistons and piston rings fitted. Deposits were removed from the engine water passages. The camshaft and cam followers were built up with Stellite by the acknowledged specialists. Leonard Reece Ltd. of Huntingdon. to the correct 'solid tappets' profiles. A new intermediate gear made from aluminium was fitted and the valves retimed. The vibration damper was overhauled and recalibrated. Distributor towers were rebuilt with new bearings. oil seals and centrifugal arms. Dynamo and starter were overhauled by J. Lucas. The radiator was re-cored using a more efficient matrix design. The carburettor overhauled and fitted with a new body and the petrol pumps replaced. The oil pump was overhauled and the oil filter replaced by a paper element. An oil cooler (oil-air heat exchanger) was fitted in the same place in the pipework as the original oil-water heat exchanger. This could be removed and the original pipes replaced if required. The car has not overheated since the oil cooler was fitted.
Cylinder heads were skimmed and all gaskets replaced and the ignition dynamically retimed. The engine is now quiet. powerful and does not overheat. "
