1933 Rolls Royce 20/25 Hooper 3 position Drophead.

An rare car that has emerged recently from long term ownership of over three decades. The body is by Hooper & was specified with an unusually large boot for continental touring. The Back of the rear seat folds down allowing for huge travel cases to be accommodated in the boot. The coachwork takes the form of an eminently practical three position drop-head. with the hood when down sitting almost level with the bodywork.

The car has been serviced by ourselves & re-commissioned. The engine was rebuilt by Rolls Royce themselves in the late '50's according to invoices coming with the car. Indeed the invoices coming with the car point to it having been maintained without regard to expense during the years it was running. It starts instantly & runs in perfect silence.

The interior is brand new burgundy leather complimented by beautifully figured burr walnut. Under the two front seats is an almost full tool kit with all small tools in their appointed places. The roof is of Blue Mohair & is new. All larger tools are in their appointed positions under the bonnet. The coachwork on the car is excellent & structural timbers are in perfect condition. The doors open & close precisely & perfectly with a solid feel exhibiting none of the drooping one so often encounters on large doors.

The car has had a lot of work done to it over the years as evidenced by the thick file of bills that come with it. Recently the car has had its bumpers & lamps re-chromed. woodwork refinished & a lot of other items attended to.

The car is not in a condition of concourse perfection but is very smart & very useable drawing accolades wherever it parks. Being a low mileage chassis it drives beautifully & will make long term reliable transport for the lucky new owner.
