Up for auction is a 1979 FORD F150 SHORT WHEEL BASE 4X4. The truck has a 351 Modified V8 engine coupled to a C6 4x4 Automatic transmission and a NP205 transfer case. The motor spins freely and was running when we parked the truck about 2 months ago and acts like it wants to start but I think it needs a carb rebuild. The transmission and transfer case are in good working order. The front and rear differentials  need attention and the u joints need to be replaced on both drive shafts. The truck is rust free except for a small amount of pin hole rust through on the passenger side floor shown in the pictures. there is surface rust here and there but no rust through other than what I mentioned. My Son and I bought this truck to build and drive on the passes around Silverton Colorado this summer but we located a beat up 1979 Bronco that we are going to use instead. The truck has a very nice RANCHO 4" LIFT WITH DUAL SHOCKS IN THE FRONT. My Son and I put this lift on when we first bought the truck. it came off the truck we drove on the passes the last two summers but the kit has very few miles on it and is in very good shape. We were going to install 4:88 gearing front and rear and we took the differentials apart but there are parts to put them back together again. The rear diff will need a pinion housing ($100. 00 on eBay). Both drive shafts come with the truck and overall the truck is straight and solid. There is nothing fancy about this truck. we were going to use it for trail use so we wanted it as light as we could get it. What you see in the pictures is what you get.  A GOOD SOLID FORD F150 4X4 SHORT WHEEL BASE PICKUP TRUCK WITH A GOOD MOTOR. TRANSMISSION. TRANSFER CASE AND RANCHO LIFT KIT.  Short wheel base trucks of any kind are becoming harder and harder to come by and this one is in very good shape. Any part you need for this truck to complete it can be bought a good prices on eBay or LMC. com. This truck is an easy finish and a blank canvas for whatever you choose to do with the truck. We need to sell this truck. get paid for this truck and ship this truck in 17 days because we are going on our summer trip to Colorado after that. The truck will be run on eBay ONE TIME. if it does not sell we will build it for next years trip to the passes. We are going to auction the truck at a LOW RESERVE AND A VERY FAIR BUY IT NOW PRICE.
