This 1942 Ford GPW went through an extensive restoration in 2012.  It has less than 100 miles since the restoration.  The body was taken off of the chassis and the chassis and suspension was blasted and repainted.  Suspension. steering. brakes. brake lines. fuel lines. wiring. etc. were all restored or replaced.  
The transmission and transfer case was resealed as necessary.  The engine was originally thought to be good so it was resealed.  Then after reassembling the jeep. we found the bolt holes which bolt the head to the block were stripped and wouldn't allow the head to torque properly.  So the engine was replaced with another one of the same vintage and painted the correct silver color.  The only problem with the whole vehicle is a rear main seal leak.  It starts right up and runs great.  
This GPW drives down the road with no problems.  The body is a replacement as the original was too rusty to fix.  The body does have the original FORD script in the rear.  Wiring. gauges. lights. blackout lights. horn. etc. all work.   Lots of NOS parts were used in the restoration.  All 5 tires are new as well as the canvas seats and top.  
You won't find many other vintage jeeps in this condition.
We have a clean Texas title for it.
