For you consideration is a 1979 International Harvester Scout II with 141 miles!! Everything is original and truck still smells new.  The scout is essentially new and is still under M. S. O. The truck is in very good condition for its age. Body is in excellent condition  other than some decent sized surface rust on hood and roof.  The underside is very clean. no rust and all chalk markings are still legible. Interior is spotless other than a small amount of water staining on drivers door panel. Truck was at Scout Nationals is 2006 and won Best of show. Lowest mileage. and 2nd place in show stock class. I do start and run the Scout twice a year. and the truck runs and drives as new!! The one picture will tell the story as to why it only has 141 miles and has never been titled. There was only a little over 500 of there built with the diesel in 1979. I have pictures of whatever you would want to see and will send those to SERIOUS BUYERS. Based on the rust at the rear roof gutter edge... sadly you have much more hidden damage than you know. (I'm a custom Scout builder.)

Inside under the roof panels... you have a rust creep trail... this will start to eat the lower roof "footing"... and move to the body directly down as well.

Please STOP the damage now. Get some Devcon 30 minute epoxy... mix a golf ball amount... no... half that... and carefully drip it into the gutter. This will seep down inside and seal the roof gap, seal the gutter where the caulking is cracked, and save the Scout... with no SEEN repair. Personally then I would drill a 1/8" hole at both rear side... for actual drainage... the reason this occurred to begin with... :-)

And I know your Scout... Ernie showed it to me ages ago... rip Ernie!
