This custom1951 Henry J street rod is a  new build done in the vintage look of the old gassers. It is street legal and has plenty of muscle! Only 600 miles on the car. It has many extras and they are:  Fabrication done by "Fast Eddie" of Orange County CA. All metal work/ no filler. Tubbed. Rear pan rolled. rear fender openings extended 5". 454 Big block 4 bolt main. Moroso pan. Comp cam. Hydrolic roller lifters. Magnam roller rocker arms. Edelbrock RPM heads/ Airgap intake manifold. 750 Holley carburetor. MSI HEI Distributor. Bowtie R4 transmission. TCI 2800 Torque converter. Ford 9" rear end/ 456 Detroit locker. Art Morrison one piece frame. Art Morrison rear suspension. 8 point roll cage. Custom heat coated headers. Curry axels. Wilwood brakes. Custom paint. Custom interior. Electric windows. This is definately not the Henry J that was sold through your mom's old Sears Catalog!

Originally bought the car as a stock 1951 Henry J  4 cylinder with the intention of turning it into an old school gasser. After 12 years and $65. 00 later. it has turned into a bigger project than I intended and feel it is time to let it go to someone else who can enjoy the finished result. I have taken it to 5 carshows and have won 5 awards. It is a car that gets alot of attention and admiration. Decal on the radiator is from an 18 wheeler truck and was put on as a joke. There is no limit on idle time!

Comments and questions to the seller:

Is the car still available? I like the car but there seems to be a lot of uncertainties involved. If it is sold or you don't want to sell it take it off the websites.

Did you get my offer? Hard to tell.

you don't happen to have a left rear fender laying around do you ?

from Paul, dated 06 september 2015
Looks like a quality build, nice. How does this car handle at highway speeds (65-75 mph) does it turn and brake great good or fair? Ever time it 0-60, 1/4 mile?
