1977 Pontiac Trans Am

Body & Paint: Very straight and clean rust free California car painted with Spies Hecker jet-black 2 stage polyurethane. This car is all original sheet metal and hasn't been cut up or repaired with aftermarket parts like most out there. New grilles. weatherstripping. door handles and flares round out the restoration. This car has a very deep clean black paint job. you will not be disappointed.

Interior: Insulated with dynomat. Interior nicely restored with a custom carbon fiber gauge insert with Auto Meter carbon fiber Ultra lite gauges. Original gauges come with the car. Has a small tear on drivers side bolster covered with a small piece of duct tape cleanly.

Motor: Numbers matching 400 Cubic Inch. Bored . 030" Speed Pro pistons. Comp Cam. Milodon Oil pan. Milled. ported and polished stock heads with new springs. guides. push rods and roller tip rockers. ARP fasteners. Edelbrock performer intake ported and polished to match heads. Stock Intake comes with car. Car has a nice lopey idle and sounds great.

Transmission: Numbers matching Borg Warner T-10 4 Speed rebuilt and resealed. Driveshaft has new U-Joints and balanced.

Rear Differential: Rebuilt with new Eaton posi unit. 3. 73 Richmond gears with a T/A aluminum cover

Brakes: Baer 13" track system in front. 12" touring system rear. Stops great and ebrake works too.

Suspension:  Hotchkis front and rear lowering springs. all steering and ball joints replaced with Moog parts. All bushings replaced with polygraphite. Factory WS-6 sway bars.

Wheels and Tires: Brand new US Mag rally wheel tribute 17X9 front. 18X9 rear with 275/40ZR17. 275/40ZR18 that fit and clear perfectly and make the car.
 
Exhaust System: Ceramic coated headers. Hi flow catalytic convertors. Flowmaster American Thunder exhaust system with stainless tips. This car has emissions in place so it will comply with your states emission requirements.

So what you have here is a PHS documented numbers matching 4 speed Trans am that has been slightly modified but nothing too much so as not to return to stock. Now if you wanted to go full bore resto mod this is the perfect platform with such a clean straight numbers matching car. Pull the drive train and set aside to make way for the LS motor of your fancy. This is not a car that has just had some paint job and pawned off. This came from my personal collection and it pains me to sell but the time has come to pass it on for someone else to enjoy. I am not a used car dealer. this will be a private party sale.
