30 Years I have worked on fine and rare Vehicles from all over the world.

This truck is Restored / Rebuilt like a Coach Build.

I thought I would never part with this truck.

Same year I was born 1968

It was from a Farm in Washington State. I was told it was stuck in a large hole for many years before someone decided to pull out with a backhoe and fix up to sell.

I did some work to make it run and drive nice. and used the truck as a company work truck from 1996-2004. back when I would let other people drive it.

Then I got Cancer and let the truck sit for a few years. and started to see some rust and body rot that needed to be fixed. So as soon as I was able. I took the truck to my Auto Body Shop and took it apart. and spent 2 years and 2000 hours to fully restore it to the Blue Prints I found from Ford Motor Co. 1968.

Since it was finished it has never been driven in the rain or wet road conditions. it is stored in a single car garage that is sealed tight.

I first showed the truck at the 2009 George Barris Culver City Car show. It Won Best Truck 1958-1972. this was a great complement to my hard work.

The reason I am selling this Ranger is I no longer have an auto business and never have time to drive it. so It cost me $2500 a year to store it.

This truck belongs in a Collection or Museum.

It has been restored to stock and factory at the highest level. no modifications where made. all nuts and bolts and seals are new. all trim parts and interior are high quality. not cheap re-pop.

Only 2000 miles since restored.

The trucks original odometer now reads 36000 miles that is how low mileage this truck is.

About the Frame off restoration:

In 2006 as a inspiration to get back to work after Cancer treatments I restored the truck with my own hands. all work was done by me.

Since I owned a Auto Body Shop I had all the right tools of the trade.

I have hundreds of photos taken while the restoration done.

After taking apart the truck I had a list of parts needed that was over 100. all seals. and body to cab mounts. all windows and seals. all Nuts and Bolts. all wiring and wiring harness.

After finding the blue prints from Ford Motor Co. I found all the part numbers to all parts down to the last bolt or washer.

These Blue prints showed me what I needed. so I started looking for replacement parts by part numbers. looking online. going to savage yards and asking if a clean truck shows up I will be back. I did find a 1968 ranger that was not used in 25 years. every part was like new. so I took all the parts I needed and the rest I got a local Auto Shows and connections.

Parts that came off the donor truck:

Hood. inner and outer fenders. inner door panels and all interior parts. seat. all parts under dash.

The frame was sandblasted and recoated. all New Brake lines and wiring. Underneath the truck is as clean as any part on this truck to this date.

The 390 FE was taken down to the block and rebuilt with all new parts.

The C6 Transmission was sent out to a shop for rebuilt.

The body panels that needed to be replaced. Floor pans. inner and outer fenders. cab to body mounts. all areas that had body rot. all new metal was welded and no sign of replacement can be found.

Under the windows had no rot. just rust.

Following the blue prints by part number. I was able to find all the parts needed. many were NOS.

The Interior is very nice. under the carpet and headliner. inside doors and behind the seat is double insulated for sound and vibration.

The carpet. headliner. seals and wiring are new.

The seat was upholstered in Germen Leather from a single hide black soft leather that follows the factory stretching in matching red.

New style steering wheel.

All Interior parts are like new or new.

When you close the doors they sound solid. from the inside it sounds quite.

The instrument cluster has been painted glossy black with red pin stripping.

The engine is a 390 Fe. rebuilt and runs like a beast!

Edelbrock 600 CFM. ELECTRIC CHOKE

 CALIBRATED FOR FUEL ECONOMY.

Edelbrock Vintage Fin value covers.

Every part and nut and bolt on the engine are new.

Lots of power with this 390 Fe engine and C6 Transmission. It will make a burnout as long as you give it gas once the rear tires let loose.

Stock power steering.

Front disk brakes. drums in the rear.

The bodywork is very straight; here is the process I used:

Removed all parts off frame. sandblasted frame and recoated. all parts replaced were welded and resealed. all panels sanded to bare metal and no body fillers used. all metal was hand hammered and primer was used to build back any loss.

Once all parts were ready for painting. everything got painted off the vehicle. then let sit for 3 months. each panel was block sanded with 400 and 600 grit to make flat and have a good base to refinish of the second paint.

Then every part was painted again. this process is the right way to achieve a flat. deep and thick finished paint job

The color sanding and polishing was done using 3M Paint perfection systems.

The colors used to refinish are from Ford 1968 truck line. Rangoon Red and Wimbledon White.

The clear coat used has self-healing technology. it is a softer clear coat the will not scratch as easy and sands out and minor damage.

Once all the paintwork was ready. the Trim and all parts were installed using the blue prints.

The wheels are powder coated glossy black with a red pin strip; the tires are Oversized to fill up the wheel wells.

The bed was sprayed with bed liner.

Extra set of rear tires for ripping up the assault
