This is a fabulous 1969 Triumph GT6+ in excellent condition. It runs and drives great and is currently licensed.

This car was briefly used for vintage racing in the 90's and comes with a log book with just a few entries in it. There are only minor modifications for racing such as the removal of all carpet and installation of a roll bar and racing harness. It is still very drivable as a street car and could easily be put back to completely stock.

The chassis and body are excellent with no signs of rust or damage. It appears the battery box has been replaced and a small section of the floor on the passenger side. The paint is also in great shape with just minor stone chips mostly around the nose. There is a tiny dent in the bonnet where it hit the top of the carburetor from inside and some chips where a burglar tried to pry off the GT6+ badge on the bonnet while it was garaged (the damaged badge was replaced). The racing numbers are in vinyl and could be removed if desired.

This Triumph is in excellent mechanical condition. The engine runs very strong with fantastic oil pressure and tons of power. It has two S. U. carbs in very good tune. It always starts easily and has no cooling problems. It has a new exhaust from front to back with tubular header and glass pack muffler. The clutch is brand new and the overdrive unit was recently re-built. The gearbox shifts through all gears with no problems and the electric overdrive works perfectly. The clutch master and slave hydraulics are both new and the brake master was rebuilt. The Brakes are excellent.   The steering and suspension are tight and in very good order. The U-joints and roto flex couplings look to be in very good condition but there is a slight vibration at freeway speeds coming from the back.

The mag wheels are excellent and the tires are less than 1 year old. It has a good spare. The Glass is in very good condition with just one small chip on the far left side of the windscreen. The seats are okay with a split on the drivers seat bottom and it could also use new foam. The dash top has a few cracks and the wood dash is showing its age a bit. The door cards are nice and the headliner is great. The instruments all work but the tach and speedo both read a bit high.   The heat and defrost work great. The 12v negative earth electrics are in good condition with a modern alternator for charging. Lights. wipers. turn signals etc all work.

Overall this car is in extremely good condition. It's the perfect candidate for any Triumph enthusiast to restore to perfection. continue its vintage racing career or just enjoy as is.

The GT6 can be viewed by appointment in Granite Falls. WA (near Seattle)
