Up for sale is a 1962 Mercedes-Benz 190SL roadster

Mercedes produced the 190SL from 1955 to 1963 in Stuttgart Germany.

In total a little over 25000 190SL were produced between 1955 and 1963. br /> but less than 2500 were produced in 1962. making this car. exclusive and rare.

Now is your chance to own one of these beauties.

This is a 2 OWNER CAR.  This specific car was owned by a Montreal Jeweller. who then sold it and the second owner has had it for 30 years. The car is in beautiful condition.  

This car was mechanically very well maintained and runs perfectly. The original Solex carburators have been freshly rebuilt in a specialized shop located in Texas. this is one of the reasons the car performs so nicely. these carbs are the originals. Everything is functional. even the dash clock rewinds like a priceless jewel. The body is in its original black color (Code DB 40G) with red interior. The interior is in very nice condition. no rips or tears. The cloth top is in good condition except for small side tear due to inexperienced folding. Wheel caps and trim rings are in pristine condition. showing how well this car was taken car of.

Floors have been redone but not to original specs. this would need to be addressed to make the car fully original. As well. some of the exterior chrome could be re-chromed as it shows signs of aging and the steering wheel will need to be replaced as the last owner has modified it.

We intend to sell this SL190 as is at a very low price. but if it doesn’t sell. we will correct all the issues with the car and sell it for much more. So here is a great opportunity to acquire a very desirable and high value car for a reasonable price.

The successful bidder will need to contact our office at 450-431-1313 within 24hours of auction end. If the end of th auction is on a weekend or holiday. next business day will be fine. At that time a non-refundable deposit of $1000. 00 will be required to secure the vehicle. Non payment of the deposit within 48 hours of auction close will result in theauction being relisted or offering the car to the next highest bidder.

Complete payment of the auction (including any applicable fees and taxes*) must be paid within 5 business days of auction close. We accept payment by bank wire transfer. certified check. bank draft. Anticipate an extra delay in releasing the vehicle if you pay by check or draft as these will need to be verified.
