UP FOR AUCTION IS A ROMAN RED 1960 CORVETTE CONVERTIBLE WITH 63. 46 MILES ON THE SPEEDOMETER. THE ENGINE IS A 327 NOM. THE TRANSMISSION IS A MUNCIE 4SPD.   THIS CAR WAS BOUGHT 31 YEARS AGO BY MY FATHER WHO DROVE IT ON SMALL RIDES ON SUNDAY AFTERNOONS. IT WAS HIS BABY. IN 2007 HE GAVE IT TO ME AND I ONLY DROVE IT 2 OR 3 TIMES A YEAR FOR SHORT JAUNTS. IT REALLY TURNS HEADS WHEN YOU DRIVE IT AROUND TOWN. IT IS NOT A SHOW CAR. MY DAD TOLD ME IT'S A 20 FOOTER. MEANING. IT LOOKS GREAT FROM 20 FEET AWAY. THE CAR RUNS AND DRIVES BUT IT NEEDS SOME TLC. I AM NOT A CAR GUY. BUT I WILL DESCRIBE THE CAR AS BEST AS I CAN. THE BODY IS IN GOOD SHAPE FOR ITS AGE. BUT THERE ARE SOME IMPERFECTIONS. COULD USE A NEW PAINT JOB. INTERIOR IS IN VERY NICE CONDITION. CHROME HAS IMPERFECTIONS AS WELL. SOME PITTING. BUT STILL LOOKS FAIR. SEE PICTURES. DOORS OPEN AND WORK LIKE THEY SHOULD. GAUGES AND SPEEDOMETER WORK FINE. IT HAS A NON-WORKING WONDER BAR RADIO. BRAKES ARE A LITTLE WEAK BUT WORK. THE SOFT TOP HAS TEARS IN IT. BUT THE SOFT TOP FRAME IS IN GOOD SHAPE.
I HAVE RECEIPTS FROM THE LOCAL CORVETTE SHOP SHOWING WORK MY FATHER HAD DONE. AGAIN THIS CAR NEEDS SOME TLC.

The 60 Vette is getting hard to come by. why not have one you can enjoy.   It is sold as is. No warranties implied or expressed.
