This is an opportunity to own an outstanding example of a Factory Triumph Herald convertible. A ‘Nut an bolt' restoration was completed in 1989 by a previous owner which has been logging in a maintenance report supplied with the vehicle. This shows a timeline of all work undertaken including regular maintenance work while the vehicle was back on the road. The mileage was logged at each repair interval which documents the present mileage to be correct at 94. 93. In 2007 the vehicle was put into dry storage due to the then owners change in circumstances at a mileage of 93378 before it was bought by the former keeper in 2011 who over the process of 2 years covered just 800 miles.
Recent paint restoration along with the fitment of a new Electronic ignition system. engine tune and distributer cap/HT leads. This vehicle is outstanding to drive a good strong engine which delivers sufficient power though a faultless drive train. The engine is fitted with freshly serviced aftermarket twin SU carbs from a triumph Spitfire. The vehicle is also supplied with 2 tonneau covers to complete the set of wet weather gear.
This is a VERY good useable example which benefits from being completely corrosion free after a full body off restoration. Perfect for weekend enjoyment over the coming months.
