Chrysler had a minority stake in Simca. but soon took a majority and combined with Rootes Group of England became Chrysler Europe  
1300 cc engine. head is not bolted to engine. will include a NOS head gasket
4 Speed column shift Transmission
4 Wheel drum brakes
Rare car in US
98% compete.  
Was a California car. bought in San Bernardino about 20 years ago.  
Body is very straight
Some rust on Left and Right Rocker panels and drivers floor board
The interior is rough but complete.
Glass is good  
Factory Locking gas cap
14 inch tires. all 5 stock wheels
Parts are available in the US at the Simca Club based in the Cleveland Ohio area.
I have owned a number of Simca's and they are mechanically straight forward cars.  
I am currently restoring a 1959 Simca. and can answer most questions relating to any maintenance and operation of the type  
I believe the car was last registered in 1980 or 1981 in California

It's a message from France, for about 20 years, I am making the inventory of Aronde SIMCA. I know about 3700 "châssis number". Less than 200 Grand Large are still alive.
Can you say me the "châssis number" please, may be you call it "serial number" or VIN ?
