If you like 1967 Mustangs but think regular coupes are boring. this is your car! If your looking for an original one. keep looking. 1967 Ford Mustang with a 302 engine. I got the car several years ago. but now with 2 children under the age of 3 I have no time to drive it. I purchased the car from California and had it shipped to Minnesota because I wanted a car with no rust.  I have spent a lot of time and money making it a good driver. The previous owner told me the engine was rebuilt recently before I bought it and it was a stock rebuild with a little bigger cam. Runs great. no issues. no blue smoke on startup. Has an edelbrock intake and I added a new Holley Carburetor. The transmission always drove. but shifted poorly. I had it completely rebuilt this spring. In order for my wife to enjoy driving it. I added power steering and brakes. Both systems are brand new. The car has front disc brakes and they are the larger "Granada" type. Pads and rotors were replaced last year.  Vehicle has subframe connectors and flowmaster exhaust. Front and rear shocks are brand new. Other new parts include headliner. radiator. 4 seat belts.  speedometer cable. Dash pad. cooling fan and shroud. battery. door and trunk weatherstripping. Odometer reads 17366. I assume it 117366. Vehicle seems to be geared lower for 0-60 performance. This things rips off the line!

Here is the cost of the items recently added.

1. Rebuilt transmission - $1700

2. Radiator - $200

3. Cooling fan and shroud - $100

4. Dash pad - $150

5. Front and rear shocks - $100

6. Pads and rotors - $450

7. Power steering system rebuilt - $1000

8. Added power brakes - $650

9. Holley Carburetor - $400

Thats around $4700 dollars in recent work!

Now on to the cosmetic details of the vehicle. The paint is only a few years old and is driver quality. but looks and shines great.  The hood bubble and side scoops are fiberglass and molded in. Thats what sets this car off.  It does have some minor imperfections which I have tried to take pictures of. Has a small dent in the right rear. Hood could use an adjustment. Drivers door needs the hinges rebuilt. Floor pans are and torque boxes seem solid. Interior is in great shape. No rips or tears. The brushed aluminum is starting to show its age. nbsp;but still looks good.  I have the black camera case dash if you prefer that. Has white face gauges and blue led lights. Looks cool at night.  Vent window weatherstripping is worn.  Has 17 inch wheels with 225/45/17 in the front and 245/45/17 in the rear. The right front quarter panel has been replaced at some point. Rear tires are worn.

Now on to the part that most sellers do not give descriptions of! Things that do not work. I was upset when I received the vehicle and was not told of certain items that were not working. This is a 45 year old car and is not perfect. None of them are unless your dropping a lot of money for a show car. The fuel gauge worked last year. but does not this year. I have grounded the sender and the needle moved. I have a new sender that goes with the vehicle. but I have no time to install. I will try to get it in this week while the auction is going on.  The speedometer works. but the other gauges do not. I have a mechanical temp gauge hooked up and thats all I need. The power steering assist is weak to the right at idle. I never addressed this because once you start moving its not noticable. Dome light does not work. The previous owner rebuilt the heater box with a new core and ran new heater hoses. But the blower motor switch is broken. Since I only drive the car in the summer. I have not yet repaired the heater.

Sold as is. no warranty as its a 47 year old car.  I believe the miles are correct. but cannot guarantee it. You can swap a cluster in these in 5 minutes.  I have done my best to describe the vehicle. but I welcome inspections. I have access to a lift if needed for the inspection.

This is a one of a kind Mustang that definitely turns heads. It has a much more aggressive look than a standard coupe. My wife took it to work the other day and people got out of their cars to snap pics of it.  It sounds amazing. I wanted to give it to my son someday. and it will be missed.   Good Luck. I can be reached by email or call me at 507-327-1548 if you have any questions. I reserve the right to end the listing early. as the car is for sale locally.
