57. 57 Original Miles
1969 AMC AMX Original BIG BAD ORANGE 57k original miles. Original 390 4 Speed car. Less than 1. 00 miles on full bottom up nut and bolt restoration including all weatherstripping. suspension bushings. stainless steel brake lines. . Paint work - stripped down to bare metal. epoxy primer/blocked. single stage urethane/sanded. base coat and two coats of clear. The 390 has been fully rebuilt 0. 030 over. balanced and blueprinted. The motor has a Edelbrock Torker intake. Quick Fuel 650cfm carburetor and Mallory ignition. Rear is a Posi 3. 54 Sure Grip. All gauges. lights and signals function properly. Valve cover tag decodes as 5th of June 1969 390V8. Vin # on dash corresponds to late June and is stamped on frame behind steering box. Body sequence number on door tag and AMX dash plaque number both correspond to late June. Door tag 03A Big Bad Orange. All numbers match validating the door tag belongs to the car. When body was blasted the door tag and rivets were not protected and were sand blasted too. The stamped codes remained and a reproduction clear and green sticker was placed over the tag giving the original look. The tag has never left the door and the rivets although original. look silvery not black as a result.
